the motor mounts are the same as a windsor, so is the bellhousing
you will need headers, so what you have to buy them anyways
you will need an oil pan, moroso has a street/strip one for 250.00
351c is the cheapest way to go fast.period
i've gone 108mph in the quarter n/a 302 with duel 2 1/4 unmandrel bent pipes, tailpipes and no cross pipe. then i took off the exhaust and when just 1 mph faster.
i think most people put too small of cams in their car to begin with and cry when they don't make power. i run home ported d-8s and fly with them. 12.30's-40's with stock control arms, bushing and 10 yr old street stock greasy circle track tires.
putting a 4bl head will be a pain in the ass. there is no intake for that. you would have to port the living crap out of one for it to fit. i built my brothers motor for his 81 f-150 4x4 and it beats or kepts up with mustangs.(no bs)
most likely close to stock ones

400cid, 2bl heads...
you don't want 4bl heads for a truck to big. the best heads would be off a 2bl clealand not 351m or 400. the ehaust port in the m heads sucks. it has a bigger water passage around the valve and takes up alot of room.
