    I have posibly the cheapest header around and they are a perfect fit. Full length Flowtech for $89. The only issuse was two of the bolts were alittle tight against the primary tubes. A small dimple in the tube fixed it. I'm running a 302 C4 with power steering and have no issuse with the steering.

    Sounds like timing issuse. But here's something else to think about if it's not. Are you using the positive stop style rockers? If so did you check the pushrod legth? I put in a cam once tightend all the rockers down to the stops and it wouldn't run. It turned out the push rod were too long...

    If you had a pefect circle drawn from stud to stud. The diameter of that circle is the bolt pattern measurement. On a 5 lug stud to stud is not the diameter. If you measure form the center of one to the outer edge of the other it will be just about right...

    I don't thing 302 and 351 pans are the same. I think the curved part at each end is larger on a 351. But I'm not 100% sure of that. Also on the 351 double hump I think the dipstick goes in the pan and the 302's go in the block. But again not 100% sure.

    Yep, easy out. Be careful of small metal shavings going in the block. Probably wouldn't hurt to change the oil once it's out.

    I went with power when I did my convertion as I was told disc brakes require more effort than drums. Although the man drum never bothered me. You also need to replace the pedal when going to power.

    I would have to agree, I'm not crazy about the flatnes of the lake model rims. I like a nice deep dish. I'm also not crazy on the large rims either I'm kinda old school I guess I'm running 15's. 16's are ok 17's boarder line. Anything larger to me just doesn't have enough meat to the tires.
