    A/C will not disengage

That is very much what i suspected. The wiring diagrams i have are helpful, but not 100% "detailed" we will call it.

    A/C will not disengage

Wrecked 2000 GT 5M. Bought bone stock, running, flawless 2001 GT automatic. Swapped engine, trans, engine harness, instrument cluster, and PCM from the 2000 GT 5 speed. The rest of the car is a 2001 GT automatic. No problems with A/C before the swap. Didn't break any lines or lose any...

Need new clutch for 2000 GT

+1 on the aluminum flywheel. I have an 03 cobra aluminum flywheel on my 00 GT and a spec stage 2 clutch. An added bonus for the flywheel upgrade is that you can get a 11" clutch instead of a 10.5". Important note- the pressure plate bolts are different between the two, so get a proper set...

    aluminum oil pan replacement

A friend has a 92 and has had the engine out once to replace the oil pan gasket. He is a competent mechanic (for the most part). He got it all back together and it leaks worse now than it did before he took it apart. I never saw it when it was out but he is convinced that his cast aluminum...

    Spark knock?

The LTFT can only do so much. Why else would we need widebands and dyno tuning? I agree that a stock tune on a stock car is designed with varying fuel quality in mind, but the 93 tune he has is probably pretty close to the edge.

please help, engine skipping, running out of ideas.

I haven't experienced any trouble with my ignition system other than the coolant leaking in so I can't say. Get em clean and let us know how it goes.

please help, engine skipping, running out of ideas.

What prompted you to change the coil packs? Mine had identical symptoms when the intake cracked. I blew the coolant out with compressed air (spark plug still installed) and it ran fine. Are the boots wet? Are any of the springs (wires) rusty? Did you check all of the cylinders? It sounds...

Can I remove the radiator support from 03

It is spot welded in. You can drill them all out if you can find them all and get to them i suppose. Then you have to weld it back together. I haven't had a 4.6 out of a mustang yet but there seems to be plenty of room to come out the top. The 4V may have more restrictions on the sides but I...

    P0135 Code after x-pipe install

The heaters are built in to the sensors. They are the white wires on mine. The documentation I found says it gets power from the EEC. Fuse 8 is my guess but check them all. It would also be worth crawling under the car and making sure they are plugged all of the way in and keyed up properly.

    Spark knock?

Ethanol has about 63% the energy per unit mass. Ethanol is heavier than gasoline so you end up with around 66% less energy per unit volume- which is what the EEC uses. E10 therefore has 6.6% less energy available at WOT compared to pure gasoline. Lean is lean and will cause detonation. 93...

Anybody use AutoGear's 2nd Gear fix kit?

The extra fluid may have been causing your problems. Ford says: Use 3 liters. It will be .75 inches less I'd use the correct amount of fluid before i disassembled the transmission

Also it is worth checking the rubber lines from the body to the caliper. I doubt it's the problem but worth checking out.

KB on a PI swapped 96-98 may not be the best option. Higher static compression can get dangerous under boost.

Help! Engine misfire 2000 Mustang 4.6

be sure you put some dielectric grease in there when you get it clean or it will just corrode again.

    Spark knock?

The coils would not cause spark knock. Try adding 2% more fuel with the tuner. If that doesn't fix it, pull timing @ 4k-8k. Depending on how much ethanol is blended in your gas, the fuel may or may not help. Timing will solve it for sure, but may cost some power.

    x pipe w/o mil eliminators

I think the EEC would have changed from IV with the 5.0 to the V with the 4.6 but I don't really know. OBD-II also came that year. Much information on the later half of this page: Ford Fuel Injection EEC Computers

    T-LOK Rebuild ... Help!

+1. I called Mobil and asked them directly and they said "you should not add anything. There is already friction modifier in the oil" My car sounded like it had a rusty artificial hip.
