347 stroker finished, and runs! (PICS)

Very nice work. You are going to have way too much torque for the stock convertible frame--have you braced it? Jon

WOW! I think i'm in love!...

Ebay has Flowmaster muffs for really cheap. As for midpipe, I would shop around in the StangNet Classifieds. Jon

    i'm dead (long)

I'm sure you don't. I just hate to see a modder start focusing on the money so much. It strips away the fun, as you can see. Jon

Video - Me spankin a Camaro...

100mphclub---the burnout ones. I love watching a stang roast them. Listening to the procharger was a big plus too. :nice: Jon

WOW! I think i'm in love!...

Eh, don't start that war. There is some controversy as to which midpipe gives the greatest gains, but I think the summary that most agree on is h-pipe gives great low end but gives up some top end; x-pipe gives great top end but gives up some low end; and prochamber tries to combine the two...

WOW! I think i'm in love!...

Don't buy new O2s unless your old ones fail. You shouldn't get a check engine light, either. Listen to Striped. Jon

    found my old 1/4 slips

Sounds like the numbers I put up the first time I went to the track. I only had exhaust and I came away with a couple low 15s and some very high (2.4x) 60'. This one is no secret--learn to launch the car. Jon

    Help, need pics...Explanation.....

I made this in paint...hope you can see it. For best viewing use Paint as well. The air dam on my car is bent, which you can see, and it is located between the two lower front bumper corners. Jon

Finally, new bumper is on! (pics)

It's a good start...now you need to finish the kit. Get some rocker panels at the very least. Jon

    i'm dead (long)

Looks like you are focusing on the wrong thing. I don't know about others, but I mod for the fun of it, not to see how much I can get for how little. You sound like an accountant or a financial advisor--trying to figure out which car is cheaper to mod. Who cares? Drive the car you like, and...

    Stock tailpipe size?

I muffler shop won't use an adapter; they will simply weld them in. That's what they did for me when I bought 2.5" mufflers. It will be fine. Jon

    got it running!

It is hard to read your post without correct punctuation. I'm not trying to flame you, but you would get more replies if you typed in a neat, organized manner. Jon

    Lil' Dilemma

I don't think there will be any noticeable power difference between the two. Most that go with the side exhaust get the SVO kit--that will make it look alot cleaner. You just need to look at some pictures and decide for yourself. Jon

    Stock tailpipe size?

Stock is 2.25". Jon P.S. Most people go with the 2.5" mufflers because they will eventually upgrade to 2.5" piping (all catbacks and intermediate pipes are 2.5" or bigger).

Pound for Pound of boost...whats better??

x2 I think we can safely eliminate any stroker kits. This means no Navigator 5.4, either. Jon

Very nice vids...except the first one, which seemed a little blah to me. I love your website vids, by the way. Jon

Pound for Pound of boost...whats better??

No contest (unless the 5.0 had some serious aluminum heads)--the DOHC hands down. Jon

    Oil disappearing...

How much are we talking about here? It is normal for a car to go through a little bit between each change. Jon

Dyno numbers in! - SCT = thumbs up!

Your times are good, LK, for your mods. Your trap speed shows that you are not making 270rwhp, however. My guess would be in the 245-250rwhp range. Don't sweat it, you seem to have a handle on your car either way. Jon
