    I really don't want to buy another hood. I think my cervinis stalker hood is 3 inches. maybe it will fit with the drop mounts.

    Once again, thanks for the help! It's looking like the afr 225's. So what do you all think about the trickflow box R intake ? I was told that I could just get a truck lower to go with my holly upper, but you can't open up the holly to 90mm. most likely going to sell it along with my 347 short block.

    I see you have the afr 225's and a tko trans. What gears do you have in the rear. My setup will be kinda like yours. How well does your car drive in the lower rpms with the 225's ?

    thanks for the in put guys! I want to find out a little bit more on the hi ports . I was leaning toward the afr 205's, but now I don't know. I just don't want the car to be a pig in the 2000-4000 rpm range. I guess I want the best of both worlds.:D

    if you still have the cobra intake on , I would bet you gain 15 to 20 more hp in the upper rpm range with one of the better intakes like the holly or trick flow.

    It's the ford stroker.com DIY short block. 10.5 to1, but my heads had to be shaved a little so I am guessing 10.6 or 7 to 1.

    I didn't want to use the gas any more, but my goal was to have 400 rwhp so I still have it on the car. I just droped it down to a 90 shot.

    the numbers are corrected. SAE . The STD numbers were 378 HP 394 TQ. the car was tuned by chris tuten 2005 NMRA champ.

    first pull with no chip or timing it made 343 hp 359 tq which matched my best with the 331 I had. when it was all said and done it made 363 hp 385 tq .The only difference between my 331 and 347 was that on the 347, the heads were port matched to the holly intake , custom cam and moved up to 30#...

    well I put it back on the car just to see what happens and it works now.:shrug: drove the car all day today with no problems, so I made an appointment to get the car tuned this tuesday.

    I checked the part # on the side of the injectors and they came up as 30's.
