    I agree, don't mess up new heads for a gasket. Find a gasket that actually fits the heads. I had to do some searching, but I eventually found some.

    Did you happen to check for good engine grounds? Had a buddy not hook any up, and the car did the same kinda thing. Hooked up a big ole ground wire and tada! Magic!

    They are the stock 5 speed computers for 90 5.0's. Back in the day everyone wanted one, cuz they are supposedly the most aggresive of the cpu's. But with all the aftermarket tuning software now, you really don't need one.

    I ran into a kid with the same problem. He actually had the starter solenoid wired up wrong. He had the wire for the fuel pump on the starting side, so it only got juice when cranking, then would stop pumping and die. Just something to look at.

    THere is a right and left to the crossmember. I even think that there is a stamp on it too. Not sure if that would cause a severe offset tho.

    Just got the car back from the body shop, feelin all kinds of good when I was driving down the road and the car just dies. Only holding about 20 psi of fuel pressure, so I think, no biggy just ran outta gas(no the gauge doesn't work). So I call a buddy, brings me some gas, and still nothing...

    cobra caliper Probably gonna have to run a 17" rim. I've heard some 16's will fit, but I think they are kinda a special design.

    You could swap out the whole frame and top off a newer car. My 92 sits a lot lower then the older cars.

    I would just swap in the Cobra axle. Not that hard to do. I run SN95 wheels, and I had to roll the fender lip for tire clearance.

    I run 235/45's on the front and 255/40's on the back. No rubbing, and I like the slight tire width diff too.
