I wouldn't consider 5'10" "real short" but I doubt many guys over 6 ft would be comfortable in my car. These seats are from a 94 and when next to the stock bottoms they definitely aren't 2 inches taller. By the way, that's not me in the pic with the seat, that's my buddy that helped me get...- Qwik66-SD

The leather is from Katzkin and it was put on at ASC in San Diego. The seat risers are still there and there are no clearance problems.- Qwik66-SD

Thanks for the info...I figured it wouldn't last very long after I opened it with all the warnings they give you about contamination. I pretty much followed their instructions as closely as possible using both of their prep products: Marine Clean and Metal Ready.- Qwik66-SD
