thinking of changes. . opinions wanted

It could defintatly work well. But, the pin-up girl feels too tacky.. I would almost go for an air-brushed P-51 scene accross the entire hood.. /shrug... vehicle theme's that extend outside the boundries of cars arn't really to my liking.. the airbrushed hood would make a good show-peice...

    Premium unleaded

wants too? more so of Needs to.. the tuner will be changing all the fuel and ignition timings to compensate for the higher octane fuel.. if you put a lower octane with the tune in. You'll have engine knock... essentially pre-detonation of the air/fuel before the spark plug ignites it...

    GT/CS Stripe Removal?

if the car is new(newer the easier!) pickup some "Goo-Gone" or some other glue remover, a hair dryer, and one of those plastic squigee's.. blow dry it until the metal behind the sticker is warm, then carefully peel it off... and just keep moving down the line. to get rid of any excess...

Red Light to the left of steering wheel

if the roush cut his hp down from 360-about 280-300 at the wheels. then it would probably be alot closer battle. I think you may be forgetting that an AWD system takes up substantial more %of HP to turn the gears. thus.. widing the gap with that extra 60-70hp. (not sure on the roush weight...

    Premium unleaded

using a higher octane once in a while will never hurt. probably more helpful.. the hotter burn would probably clean out the cylinders that little extra bit. if your set on running a higher octane, run your local 89, or go pickup a tuner and program it for 91 or 94

lol! I fully admit.. i took the stang on the track -- Once!!! It was a Blast! i can't drift my sti around corners like the stang.. Not without Seriouslys.. Seriously throwing it around a corner, or having a wet track.. the stang is just effortlessly FUN! but, i like to feel the g's in a...

Red Light to the left of steering wheel

Reading your vehicles manual would be far easier and time effective then sitting at your computer, pondering if anything we say is factual. And at the same time, it wouldn't be wasting our time having to reply to the simple question :O On a side note, no i don't know what it means, and Yes...

Tire question, stock 235/50 so between these others, what say you?

Definatly true. some friends of mine that own other construction business i work with, when we go to the track its always hard competition for fast driving. i've taken my mustang to have fun before, but when i try to pit it against a friends 05 porsche gt3. or another's fox body with 550hp...

Tire question, stock 235/50 so between these others, what say you?

with the traction that the re-01 will supply, i honestly doubt you'll have understeer issues more prominant than running a wider tire. personal choice i suppose. I'm spoiled with my subaru when i'm on the track, the stang just feels like a dead-weight, while the subi is running 225/35 tires.

Tire question, stock 235/50 so between these others, what say you?

tracking your car. i would keep your 255/35 all around. or 255 rear, 245(or235)/35 front. 1) lower profile, and tighter fitting tire WILL improve handling and feel of the car around a corner. less slopp in the side-wall's. big bonus. 2) wider foot-print in the rear will give you better...

    06 GT, G/F's car a quick picture

I enjoy the headlights. its different. for 1, you'll know which car is yours when your next to the other 500 mustangs at some meet. and your modding the car to your liking. which above all, is really what counts. F the nay sayers "I dig it"

    Wilwood Big Brakes?

wilwood's are a brand that i see often on track cars. Better then brembo for response imho, and definatly a brand that i switch both my stang and sti too if i had the cash and priorities to do all 4 corners.

    Stock Brakes and Tracking

stock pads are garbage for a track. Pickup a trackable pad. - Hawk and EBC are brands that i use, and i prefer EBC's "yellow stuff" as a track pad. Ceramic is decent enough, but when they get hot you'll notice a little more fade then usual, opposed to an organic track pad. Now to be close...
