    Picking the right Heads??

I am pretty sure any head with 2.02 valves will require you to fly cut the pistons. The 165's have 1.90 valves though. If you will read Thumpers website you will see that big valves are not the be all beat all of a good set of heads though. This is why I am staying stock/ported. No reason for me...

    Picking the right Heads??

The afr's will work fine with your intake. I suggest 165's for a more street based car and 185's for more of a street strip car. The 185's move your power curve up the rpm range from what I have seen. As far as the job itself.....to me it is rather easy. Take the intake off, unbolt your headers...

    Picking the right Heads??

I plan on running a setup close to yours and I plan on going with ported E7's with bigger valves along with a ported stock upper/lower. I plan on seeing atleast low 11's with traction.

    fuel gauge whacky

I have the opposite problem. I can fill my car up untill the fuel is coming out the gas filler and it will only read 3/4 of a tank. But I can ride around on E for like 70 to 90 miles lol.

BF Goodwrench G Force vs Yokohama Avid T4

Tirerack is where I have been researching them. I like the tread pattern of the BFG but did not and dont want to lock myself down to any certain tire. I'd like to stay in the $75 to $85 range per tire. I want dry pavement traction on moderate launches but want it to be able to make a 2500 mile...

BF Goodwrench G Force vs Yokohama Avid T4

Well do you think you could put aside your pro American perspective for a minute and enlighten me on the potential performance of each tire on the specs I presented or do you need more info on the tires. I can rename the thread tire a vs tire b if it will help.

Does Ford think we're Stupid? 315 horse? what the hell!

I know that, I'm saying that the Cruz and Volt will kick start a new life for the brand. They need to do something to help the Malibu, it is a nice car that should get more attention. I know they will not make it w/o bail money but I was saying that after that the inovations and plan they have...

BF Goodwrench G Force vs Yokohama Avid T4

The BF Goodwrenches are $82 a tire and the Yokohama's are $81 a tire. The BF's have a Uniform Tire Quality Grade of 340 AA A and the Yokohama's have a 420 A B, So the treadwear on the Yoko's are better but traction and temp ratings of the BF's are better. The BF also has a just a tad bigger foot...

Anyone here ever have any DSM's?

I feel that way about DSM's my budy has ran atleast 3 of them into the ground then he got a Integra and built a nice little all motor setup for it(228whp) and he could not hurt the car. 10,000rpm shifts, launching at 6000rpm, beating the hell out of it and it never gave out. He traded it for a...

    Just a rant

Price gouging. Let me ask. I am in Idaho but live in TN, going back in January. If I were to design and fabricate a exhaust for a 87-93 fox and sent it to somebody would you do a review. Cause I know I have the ability to design a free flowing exhaust that will be fair priced.
