    Stupid mistake...

This theoretically makes sense but I really dislike the idea of having a block between the jack and the pumpkin. Seems like the most unstable option out of all of them. By the way, idk if it was me or a shop but my diff had a slight bend at the bottom for the longest time. It eventually...

    LT Headers on a 351

So here's the deal. I want to buy some exhaust for my car. Already have a Cherry Bomb Vortex Cat-Back. But thinking of Mac LT's and a ProChamber midpipe. Question is, if I throw a 351 under my hood at some point in the future, will I still be able to use these headers? Thanks

    Muffler Opinion

I'm confused here. Prochamber is not a muffler, its a big empty box that sits where the x is in your x pipe.

    Gear Ratio Question

Another viewpoint..... Say you have your 3.31 gears in your car. Maybe you have thought about upgrading to 3.73's or 4.10's. Well the higher you go with your ratio, the higher your rpm will be at any given speed. For example, now at 70 mph you might be turning 2000 rpm, with the 4.10's it...

Advice on finding a project car research materials

Since you are going for the Eleanor look, and not the "real shelby" look. You might have some disagreement from alot of forum members. But a quick google search for "mustang restoration book" will give books like these Motorbooks.com - Ford Mustang Books for all Mustang Enthusiasts .

    Evaluating an inherited 68 convertible

no problem, how do the front fenders look on the donor car? Would the donor have everything you need to fix the rust, like the floor, trunk, not sure how the rear quarters would work, with conv and coupes (i think they are different). My guess would be 3-4 grand for the pair.....curious what...

    1969 ***PLAYBOY PINK*** FASTBACK MUSTANG

Since it isn't the original engine you will not be able to sell it as a "numbers matching" car. Since you are throwing a v8 in it, and it's getting a repaint anyways, there won't be anyone who wants to buy it because of its "factory originality." You might as well paint it with an attractive...

    gear ratios

Ok, pretend your car has a 1:1 gear, it could go really fast but it would take a while to get there. As you increase your gear ratio, your tires spin slower with respect driveshaft, this increases acceleration, but decreases your top speed, (hence it increases your speed at any given rpm...

    shipping ?

If the ins. company sent the money to the body shop on accident that is their fault not yours. I can understand how the shop is p'od but they should be talking to the ins. company not you. When the insurance company took the money back from the shop, the shop should have thrown a fit right...

    Compression ratio help

The link shows pistons with a dish. So you need to add 2ccs to the head volume. Hence the spec Piston Head Volume (cc) +2.00cc. Since they have a dish and not a dome, there is no chance of hitting valves.
