    I dont have a clutch so thats not it (aod car). My starter is the stock one and is wired up the stock way. As far as I know the bolts are tight but Ill double check them just in case tomorrow. Theres really no funny noises except the spinning of the starter motor when this happens. No knocks...

    I did find out its definately not the ignition switch after replacing it (didnt see your post before I went and got it). Its not a mini starter so I can rule that out. Should I just replace the starter? Id hate to spend $100 on a part that might or might not fix the problem.

    2 should be enough to pass. Does NYC actually have a smog test and all for older cars? Upstate its just a visual check for '95 or older. I just got my car inspected with no cats or smog pump.

    I think they might be different between 5 speeds and automatics. I know for sure the U joints are different so that would mean the yokes are different too.

    $210 shipped. I bought new rotors and pads- dont use used ones. You will need the calipers too. Stock ones wont work.

    94-95 5 lug conversion(front only).

    I bought a set of '94 v6 spindles and calipers off The Corral Forums and bought balljoint spacers from www.breezeautomotive.com and an adapter fitting for the passenger side brake line from www.maximummotorsports.com. The spindle swap is actually pretty easy and shouldnt take more than a few hours.

    Englishtown Novice (Questions!)

    If its anything like my local track you dont dial in for test and tune or time trials and theres no eliminations in time trials. Youre just racing for time slips, not in a bracket and not racing the car next to you.

    3g alternator pulley

    I used the pulley from my stock alternator with the washer that was on it on the 3g alternator. The stock 3g pulley is the same size as an underdrive pulley.
