    I ran 13.7 at 103 with my HCI car with an AOD. Im swapping to a T5 really soon. I cant stand the AOD anymore.

    My uncle had a '93 with the I6 and it had 237k on it and ran fine when he traded it in a few years ago. It ran great but the rest of the truck was falling apart. The idiot traded it in on a Silverado with a 4.3.

    Fix the notch. It already runs good and doesnt need mechanical work or a complete overhaul. The '86 looks rough and could be a potential money pit (actually all these cars are though).

    Ive got a set of M/T ET streets for the track so I dont really have a traction issue now. I dont plan on swapping the gears for a while, if I ever do. One of my friends has a T5 with 4.10's and a blower and runs 11's.

    Id get a late '80's Buick Lesabre or Olds 88 with the 3.8 v6. Those cars are pretty much bullet proof and dont seem to rot too badly. Ive seen several with well over 200k running fine.

    I hope its more fun. Driving it with the AOD just sucks. From what Ive heard 1st is useless, especially with 4.10's.

    I didnt have to change anything. Theyre Pioneer's and they say right on the box that theyre a direct replacement for Ford cars with 5x7's.

    6x8's fit in place of the 5x7's in the rear- a direct fit. I put 4" speakers in my dash. I just had to grind some of the plastic inner dash with a dremel to get them to fit.
