    Which Brand of Headers

Thanx a lot for your replys, im going to call FPA and see what they got. Im thinking that its going to be a little more than the $400 for the dougs though :D . If they are really pricey im probably going with the dougs, because they seem to have good fitment and from what i hear are a quality...

    Which Brand of Headers

Me and my Father are building up a '69 Fastback, its getting a healthy 408w and later nitrous, and we are looking into headers. We know we are going to need at least 1 3/4" primaries because the end result will be about 600-650hp. The main ones i have been looking at are Dougs $400 and Hooker...

Lightning 90mm MAF and Cold Air for 94/95 5.0

They have some decent cold air kits on Ebay. I got mine it has 3.5" polished aluminum tubing and a nice sized air cleaner for $45 to my door. I had to drill some new holes on the plate that seals against the fender but for $45 i was pleased.

Is Big Block power worth it?

I think a stock 460 weighs about 720lbs. I would say with aluminum heads and intake that you could get it under 650. I think a stock 351 weights about 550 or so. SCJ heads for a BBF will set you back around $2000 (afr 205 are $1750) but they flow 330/225. A scat 557 :D stroker kit with...

    What Cam/Intake.....

Im working on a 347 build all i have so far are Twisted wedge heads and a '69 302 block. I plan on using a CHP kit because i understand that their pistons will clear the valves if the cam isnt too crazy. I plan on getting the heads and intake port matched. I might even take the heads to get...

WHAT IS THE BEST 351 BLOCK TO USE?

I would also look into 351 Marine blocks. I have a 74 marine 351 and the machinest said he has never seen that much beef in a production 351. You can still use all the automotive 351 parts. If you can score the whole short block it would easily be good for 450hp with good bolts. I have heard...

    '69 302 block

Your talking about where they tap the holes so you can bolt the spider in? i have heard confliting stories about this though. I actually have all the parts for the conversion (dogbones and spider) but i heard that it can cause trouble with the cam, or that you have to use a smaller radius cam.

    '69 302 block

Im looking at building an engine for my 94, and i have a '69 302 stock bore block that i can use. Im looking for 400fwhp with a 347 and maybe 600fwhp with nitrous. I know that at 450fwhp a 5.0 block is about done. I havent been able to find much info on the power handling of the older 302's...
