    Where to have gears installed?

x2 on Ford for parts.... if you are doing the trac lock too you may want to get the 03 Cobra rebuild, it has the carbon frictions. Very nice and drops right in. Ford will also have the select fit spacers, but be warned- they are not cheap. Thats why many places use the shims. Dont forget the...

    Where to have gears installed?

If you want it done right give Jeff at All Ford Performance a call. He doesnt use shims, he uses the proper Ford select fit spacers to get the backlash correct. He will do it in or out of the car, no problem. He is a bit backed up right now, but there is a reason for that- he is worth the wait...

    Still Alive !

HCI and Nitrous dont do a damn bit of good if the thing isnt tuned right and set up to make the power. People think that everything is a bolt on without understanding what goes into making it all work in harmony. There is a reason I had a $1200 DFI on my Escort:nice: The setup will only be as...

    Good exhaust shop in Portland?

I dont know too many that will touch cats in fear of being fined. I usually recommend Punks in Vancouver or Darrels Economy Muffler in Pdx, but I doubt either of them would touch the cats.

    Gear Install

Whats your location? Northern Oregon/Southern Washington I would recommend All Ford Performance in Vancouver. Jeff is great at setting up rear ends, and he doesnt cut corners by using the cheesy shims. He has the select fit spacers in stock. (360)993-1740

    Looking for a tuner.

Chung@Blue Oval is good, he is typically on the safe side. Jeff @ All Ford (Blue oval and All Ford are in same shop) is a good tuner as well, and is more aggressive if you are more into the racing side of it. Either one will go the extra mile for you, and they are worth the drive! :nice:

    New poster -Hello From Oregon-

First off, Welcome to Stangnet! Jeff at AFP has a lot of tuning experience with n/a and boosted 4.6's, and runs one in his fox body. I dont think you will find anyone that will go as far as he will to make a customer happy either. Vancouver is a short drive, well worth it if you want it done...

    Oregon DEQ

1996+ they just scan it and give it a visual (but dont know what they are looking at anyway LOL) Pre-96 you will need cats or some good tuning to get it to pass. I have heard rumors of people passing without cats, but its not easy. Keep in mind the high flows are usually crap, best is to...
