    ^^^^^^^ Exactly what joker said... I, personaly "hate" the idea of putting amps under seats.. I avoid it all costs. That said.. there are ways around it. If you think you can somehow get enough airflow around the amplifier then by all means... it's worth a shot if you are short on space.

    You can get good sound out of them inside the car when the subs are in the trunk. However, if your sound pressure levels are fairly high, you will drive everybody insane with the sound of your trunklicense plate rattling.

    I"m not sure where to start.. What rockford did, far excedes my expectations. I absolutely love the new design of the power series amplifiers!! Built like a tank... awesome new look.. yet not overly flashy at all... the look of the new subs are nice too... enclosures look cool, and the decks...

    I like what BBrinks said... And I agree, with the JBL 1200.1, go with a sealed enclosure for sure! IMO sealed enclosures sound a lot better when the amp is capable of giving the drives all the juice they can handle (With the proper install of coarse).

    The anwser to your question is Both! Either setup can create more sound pressure depending on the equiptment, and the setup. Fron a general standpoint, 12" subs will play lower frequencies better, while 10" subs will play higher frequencies better. You can make 10" subs as "loud" as 12's or...

    I havn't heard a lot of the orions but that sounds about right to me.. it's probably a personal preference thing. Are the prices pretty much the same??

    I"m sorry, I honestly don't know what the problem would be from sitting behind a computer screen but I suggest you make sure everything is hooked up properly and that there are no loose connections (for starters). Just my .02

    You guys were probably talking about putting the 6.5" orion components up front as the 5x7's are usually for rear fill. Everything sounds pretty good.... If you want to spend a little more money you can always buy some focal 6.5's for up front! If you can... find a local dealer that carries...

    My brother has cobra r replica's on his car... looks awesome.. I don't have any pics at the moment though.. but I know that there are a few different rims I"ve seen on fox bodies that look good.... depends on colour.. and really, it's all personal preference...
