Mine "drones" at 2200 but I like it, every time I go down a residential street I purposely cruise at 2200 so Ill set off car alarms:uzi:. But yours sounds like it needs tail pipes.
When I bought my 347 short block from CHP, they told me they prefer to bore over size to ensure proper dimensions. They said they have seen new blocks come with the cylinders out of spec. So they also bore using a torque block.
I have a CHP 347 with AFR 185's. Right now I'm using the Cobra intake on my 95' vert. I'm thinking about the RPM II, of coarse I need a cam to match. Maybe a Comp XE282HR, I want to shift around 6250.
Hi Im new to this forum but not new to Mustangs. I have an CHP 347 and love it. I have about 10k on it so far with out any complaints. I drive it every day its my only car. It doesnt consume any more oil then when it was stock.
