    Alright who can weld aluminum?

    Just wondering if you tried Metal Dynamics?I know they weld aluminum and they are performance orientated.Another thought would Regina Wheel works or Precision Propeller Repair.They aren't welding shops but they should have a lot of experience welding aluminum.

    AOD swap....but engine already balanced....

    I used an 164 tooth AOD flexplate without problem with a large bell 164 tooth C-4 so you shouldn't have any issues re-using the current one unless the C-4 one you have now is 157 tooth as the AOD ones are all 164.If you look at the 164 tooth ford racing flexplates they are designed for C-4/AOD...

    What's the physical appearance difference between the c4 and FMX

    The bolts which fasten the bellhousing to the main case are inside the bellhousing on a C-4 and outside the bellhousing on an FMX.On the FMX the bolt heads point towards the rear of the transmission and thread into the bellhousing through ears on the main case so they are visible.

    Usually a good first step is to check for computer trouble codes, check the fuel pressure and also check the timing.Once you have that info you can start to eliminate possibilities.

    Mounting and balance

    I have been going to the north Wal-mart lately for my 16" factory rims.I am not sure what size of tire they can do, but I did notice Wal-mart sell 17 and 18" tires now.Everytime I go there it is pretty much dead, I just drop them off and shop a bit and they are done.

    91 Octane problems

    Mohawk has an alcohol blend fuel that is fairly high octane.But you have to watch out as the alcohol in the fuel actually leans out your air/fuel ratio a bit.
