    I used an AOD flexplate no problem with a C-4 so the reverse should hold true.All 351w's are 28 oz balance, 302's changed in the early 80's but 351w's stayed the same.The 28 oz balance is also shared by 289's and 351c's.A cheap place for flexplates is Bulk-part.com if you don't need an SFI one...

    junk yard electric fan with stock fox alternater

    I am running a dual 11" Audi fan I found at the wreckers with my 351 and have had no problems so far.The Audi fan actually takes less current to run than the original 4 cyl electric fan that was on my car so I am not too concerned about upgrading the alternator yet.
