    99 cobra where to start

    we salute all you guys and gals out there :flag: but for a first mod... i would say solid axle swap, 4.30's and suspension... than a small whistle under than hood :D oh and some drag radials :D good luck and get back here safe and thanks again :flag: Collin

    i agree with missouri guy... i used a 00 gt and looks like from the factory and i love it... especially and 4-5 k launches and not having to worry about a snap.... well accept axles... :rlaugh: go with the 99+ gt rear end you won't regret it :nice:

    i would not go with the irs... if you wanna make more power, i would go with a solid axle swap... can't tell a difference, and i can tell i lost about 85 lbs. off the car. :D

    IRS vs Solid Axle Any Input

    i have heard as altered99gt said. that it weighs about 85-95 lbs less. and it feels alot better. and no difference in the ride. ( well i can't tell) :D

    hey jose i have a cobra with the solid axle and its great... 12sec67 helped me on it and we live in san diego even though i get ran by him :D any ?'s pm me or him thanks

    Thinking of buying a '99 Cobra convert. Any drawbacks?

    i have no prob with my rear end.... but i did the solid axle swap and can't tell a difference. the convertible is a great car. looks nice with the top down and with a tonneau cover on ( thanks 12sec67) mine is white with white top. and i love it. good luck and just about every 99 has had the fix...

    hey aalawi, with all do respect cobra90gt knows alot more about cars than you do. you are probably some 16-17 year old punk, i am 19 and am not saying i'm mature but please... grow up. cause you are an idiot. and cobra90gt in a week imma be posting some pics of the 99 with the s trim on there :D
