every street i ride on is basically a 4 lane city road :shrug:
im 12 miles out of NYC and commute to school in Hoboken everyday down 495 with it....
and we are talking that i had 15 feet in TOTAL to stop .....
and i got the police report.....the guy is 88 turning 89 in June
yea its only been a few days and there is no way in hell im going a summer without a bike..... once i find out everything from insurance i might just keep mine and rip the plastics off.... do some inverted rr forks and make it a street fighter .... or if they give me good money go for a gixxer 750

yea i was watching her so as soon as she started to move i slammed on the brakes because i saw it coming... but im always scanning when i ride looking at what others are doing..... i acutally endo-ed the bike right into her i was on the front brakes so...
This is my first time on since this happened so heres my story....
got out of work at 7 on sunday and im driving down a four laned road towards my house ( 2 lanes each way) with a posted speed of 40mph.... so im doing about 50 or so and in the left lane in my direction and waiting to turn...
Ive read to use the 3/8-18 NPSF tap but my father has a 3/8-18 NPT tap ....
I looked the two up and both are pipe thread taps but i believe the NPSF is straight through and the NPT has a slight taper to it.....
I believe the NPT should work fine with some silicon around the threads but...
I finished up my PI intake/cams swap last night and cant wait to start her up when i get home from work :banana:
only question is with the alternator bracket i purchased for an 01 GT how the hell does this thing help ? How is it supposed to hold the wires? I dont have a picture of the one...
thanks for the torque BCB ......... and which bolts should i use lock tite on besides the cam bolt..... (doing PI cams and PI intake) .... set the new cams in last night just have to torque it all up correct tonight and put er back together :flag:
Can anyone tell me the torque of the cam guide bolts and if there is a special order for tightening them down ?? The links i find for this are all for modular depot and the pages come up as no longer existing ..... thanks!!

If you didnt know already.... with a 96 you cant use a tuner to correct the speedo for tire size or gearing.... you either need a speedcal or to change out the speedo gear itself...
A GT's recommendation from Ford is 87+ octane ...... the 4v are the only ones they Premium is recommended..... you can run regular no problem at all..... your car might have some ping if its used to being run on premium since new but it will adjust.....
So i sent the guy an e-mail saying the throttle body he sent me is not BBK and is some nkock off **** and im not paying the same price for it and asking how we can resolve this ...... he says back
"On the instructions and the parts list, it said 1- BBK Throttle Body. It's the exact same thing...
Yea i cant wait to get the PI parts in....
Its def 75mm i measured it... and its def the correct t/b no retrofitting or anything... i paid for a BBK though wtf :shrug:
