    the craftsmanship seems grade A its just i was told i was purchasing a BBK ?... I havent put it on yet since im waiting for my C & L plenum to arrive and will be doing my PI intake/cams swap at the same time :banana:

    I bought whats supposed to be a BBK 75mm Throttle Body off of the classifieds over on Corral and recieved it today.... Im just a little confused ... It says "Omnitek Advanced Technologies" on it not BBK??.. Anybody know anything about it? Am I going to have to hop on a plane to go pay this...

    That's a controversial topic as far as my knowledge goes. I know our tires on modern vehicles will not develop flat spots unless stored for years... but many say taking the stress off the suspension is also a benefit of jacking a car up for storage. Others say it hurts the car, mainly the shocks...

    your supposed to jack it up off all 4 wheels when storing a vehicle for an extended time and thats what occurs at any shop anytime they work on a car??? so of course its safe..... just make sure you put the stands in the correct spots!!

    Body work and painting is now mainly being done by low wage non-english speaking laborers. The field is no longer an art like it used to be.... It will be extremely hard to land any type of well paying position in the field because of the cheap laborers.

    the stock rear sway bar's also have a tendency to break since they are not too thick and any aftermarket bar even same diameter will be stiffer...

    BIGGG mistake ordering from Blue Oval Industries they are a bunch of crooks and scum bags.... they could have sent you two drivers side head lights and then they would have told you that you dont know what your doing..... do a search on them and you will find manny manny customers they worked...

    I am going to be ordering a King Cobra Clutch ( originally was going to go SPEC 1 but ive read lots of bad reviews??....) but my question is if i will need to get the steeda firewall adjuster and quadrant etc. or if just the clutch kit will do? ....

    I am debating right now what route to take doing the PI intake swap.... i pretty sure im either going to do the Livernois Motorsports kit as opposed to having to worry about tapping a manifold or ever developing coolant leaks... below i saw this other kit someone posted...

    I would just like to confirm that the PI cams taken out of a set of new Ford Racing PI heads are the same PI cams i would want to use for a PI cam swap ? ..... also im assuming these would have the bolt on gears? may be a dumb question but i would just like to be sure :shrug:

    welcome.... when i first got my stang the shift first to second was the same thing compared to other vehicles i had driven .... i felt like i was forcing it and was ... it takes getting used to ... now slamming it is no problem :) ... so it may just take some time ??

    best thing to do is buy yourself a cheap jeep or explorer or something and just sell it for just as much as you paid or more in the spring..... i've been driving for 4 winters now and have had a different truck every time... its kinda fun and ive made money off of all of them once i sold...

    Im going to be doing the PI cams/intake manifold swap but i was just inquiring about any other more powerful cams i could use that would be a direct swap.... plus a tuner if i go that route.... will any cams swap directly and not have issuses with clearance etc.... any other advice ill take...

    NJ state inspection

    yea 96 and up they plug into the OBD so as long as your check engine light isnt on they really wont say anything.... under 96 it gets the sniffer which is where you will be in trouble so your good like i said

    you have a 2v all gt's are 2v...... cobras, mach 1's, etc. are 4v

    as far as water in the spark plus wells you should use a compressor to blow out the water that pools up there... thats what i do at least....
