    clutch pedal clicking

A couple tiny squirts of silcone spray will fix it for at least 6 months. I hate those tiny squeaks and creaks.

    Engine pinging? Exhaust leak?

The 4.6 has a cam on top of each head opening and closing 12 valves each, plus 8 injectors, and transmission noise. High quality oil and trans fluid should keep it quiet and running smoother at low speed. It's a good car, but it's only a Ford. It will make some noises.

    Hail Damage?!?!?!?!

Unless you paid cash for it let the insurance company fix it and then SELL IT. You can buy another car dude.! I had a Ford Ranger that was brand freeakin new and it got pelted by hail. Sold it and got a better truck. Funny thing is, it was parked outside a vacant garage. Move on.

    Steeda vs Bama custom tunes

Original post was Steeda vs Bama custom tunes. There have been several opinions of both. ***Any time you modify a vehicle you risk the possibility of voiding the warranty*** Duh! Most of us already have hand held tuners, I hold an SCT from Americam Muscle with multiple tunes from Bama. What...

    HAZARD LIGHT SWITCH INOPERABLE

How "Custom" of a radio install did you do? Did you swap out the head unit using a harness adapter or did you butcher the factory wiring? Not saying the latter is bad if done right. Either one could damage something.

    Another Alternator Whine thread.

Backround: 2008 GT/CS bought last year with 31k. Everything was perfectly quiet and smooth when I bought it but little by little I started hearing a whine. Today is a nice day so I popped the hood and got out the stethoscope. Power steering pump sounds usual for a Ford (kinda noisy), AC...

    Dent Advice Please

It depends on how the rest of the paint looks. Normally they would paint the damaged panel and blend the color a foot or so onto the next panel and then clear all panels that had new paint. That would mean your fender, door and hood would have soem degree of paint and fully cleared. A good...

Front and Rear Sway Bar... Adjustable or Non Adjustable

With all high performance parts comes a comfort issue. You'll hear every single road noise from the rear end with RCAs. You'll hear all transmission noises with a shifter. ETC.. I traded my "hot rod" 97 Cobra for a smooth 2008 and I hate to make it loud and rough just yet. It WILL come...

    SctTuner "Two Step"

If you don't want to hurt anything just don't rev it beyond 4500, :D Seriously, Never had a rev limiter on a Mustang but I've driven a couple cars with one and you can launch great off the line (provided it's setup right). Depends on what you want to achieve.... Do you want to improve on 60'...

    BLOWN UP 2011 5.0

    1. Don't believe anything a salesman tells you. 2. Your car is not brand new. You modified it and drove it. 3. Apparently it still runs, but smokes. You can have #8 cylinder, piston, rings, etc repaired for WAY under 10k. Fix it and move on. Ford is not responsible. BAMA maybe, but don't...

Value of a mustang(modded) goes down a lot?

I guarantee that dealer made money.! You don't know what they has invested in the 08, they might have bought it at auction for 16k. Plus they made money selling your trade. They always make money. If you financed the car there then they made money off of that too. Also, I think your numbers...

The wife wants my mustang as her Daily Driver???

:lol: I wouldn't put my wife in a Kia, I wouldn't drive one, I wouldn't ride in one. Seriously, Fix the Volvo enough that it's safe or trade it on a nice Japan Sedan or something.

    Trip Computer Question (gas mileage)

Lets say for example I modify the car with different fuel injectors and/or rear end gears. Of course the computer will be flashed to reflect these changes. Do you think the onboard trip data will be correct? After all the handheld tuners just "hack" the Ford program. Any thoughts?

The wife wants my mustang as her Daily Driver???

At first I was going to say A and B. Fix the Volvo and get another 05-09 GT. A few hundred for the Volvo and 12-15k for a nice GT. Then I read the other post where the Volvo needs a bunch of work. Now I'm thinking get another Volvo? Decisions, decisions.! I have a 95 F-150 that I've had for...

    Trip Computer Question (gas mileage)

How does the on board trip computer calculate gas mileage? It's miles per gallon and I know how the car knows "miles". How does it know gallons? Is there some sort of sensor on the fuel line that measures the volume of fuel or does it use the duty cycle of 8 stock fuel injectors? Anyone know?
