    I tried to search on this, but had no luck... When hooking up my autometer boost/vac gauge to a red vaccum line, does it have to be the same vaccum line I'm tapping to for my bypass valve? There are many red vaccum lines under the hood, will they all serve the same purpose?

    As said above you need a 3/8 NPT tap (3/8 pipe thread), Vortech listed the tap size incorrectly in the manual I believe.
