Headlight Assembly Gasket is NOT Flush & Snug with the Front Fender

Do you have OEM headlights? I noticed with my aftermarket "made in taiwan" smoked headlights that there are slight gaps, just like you mentioned. The OEM's fit perfectly. It could very well be that the fenders and the bumper are lined up to spec, but the headlights themselves are the culprit...

how bad do you want an IRS? you may be better off keepin the Mach with the live axle in the back if you get really serious with the power.

    Give me one good reason

does the MGW have shift stops on them like my Tri-Ax? I would think that would be an added benefit when slamming gears on an aftermarket shifter vs. the stock unit. You can prevent bending the shift forks better with an aftermarket shifter vs the stock unit.

    Totaled H/C/I 95 GT = 2000 GT

260 hp is the rating at the crank, not the wheels. You'll be lucky to see 245 rwhp with only a flash, intake, catback and timing adjuster. You may be able to bump that to the 260-270rwhp range with an o/r mid pipe, plenum/TB & underdrive pulley's.

    new best n/a

Nice launch! I do see you're able to get front wheels off the ground. Man I'd kill to get a 1.66 60'.

Supercharged GT or save money for Mach

Nitto DR's mounted on 15" welds. Still only cutting a low 1.9 60', still need to practice launching.

Supercharged GT or save money for Mach

I'm sorry Benny, didn't mean to come off as sounding harsh. I recall a few posts about how the mustang is a pig and how it rates compared to your friends cars, etc. I neglected to read that he was infact pricing a KB setup, so therefore your prices range is correct, so I apologize.

Supercharged GT or save money for Mach

We all know you hate your car already. And your price range of 6k-8k for a complete setup is way off...much like your guess of my 1/4 mile time and traps. My mongoose kit, purchased from MPH cost me $2750 complete. The head unit and powerpipe was used with 5k miles on it. Everything else...

Considering an 06 GT Theft Recovery

The dealer said no damage? I'm curious if the car was stolen with a set of keys as well then. If not I would think that the steering column and/or wiring to the dash be hacked with. I'm pretty sure the 06 (like my 00) has the computer chip in the key which you need to have match in order to...

    Procharger Mongoose kits?

have you tried posting your question on the MPH forums? He seems to answer questions often there.

1/8th mile times with Mongoose kit.

Thanks for all opinions...naturally I'd like to think my hard earned money and effort has yielded me better results. I guess we'll see this coming weekend, weather permitting, what I'll to in the quarter!

1/8th mile times with Mongoose kit.

No kidding...actually this was the first time in about 2 years I've been to the track. I would have liked to have gone sooner, but other things just got in the way. If weather cooperates this weekend I'll get my 1/4 mile passes out of my system and then she can hibernate for another winter...

1/8th mile times with Mongoose kit.

You serious 12.8-13.0? Based off my previous NA runs I'm sure as hell pulling more than 5 mph in my traps already in the 1/8th. No F'n way a 13.0...I was just shifting to 4th, and that's where the party gets started! I would have thought a little better than that considering my time NA and...

1/8th mile times with Mongoose kit.

Well I finally was able to squeeze off some runs with the Mongoose kit. Sunday at Englishtown was very windy, so instead of 1/4 mile they were only running to the 1/8th! :notnice: Next weekend I'll be going back to run it in the 1/4. But alas here is my best time slip of the day. R/T...
