I made a 20-130MPH vid for you folks :D (TT Mustang)

Did I hear you say "130" near the end of the video?

Cold air kit is it worth it?

It's all about your definition of "worth it". A CAI is mostly a 'feel good' or 'looks good' mod than a horsepower mod. If you judge it in terms of looks or personal satisfaction from doing a mod, then it's worth it. If you judge it by the $/hp method, then there are other mods you should do...

Trying to get a more aggressive stance

Another before and after for the Eibach Pro Kit. I also wish the front came down more than the back. I have plans of getting shocks and struts later so I might replace the rear spring isolator with a polyurethane one to raise the rear up about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I think I'd rather do that...

how many times should i run at the track?

Don't worry about making good times at first. Just go through the motions and learn it.

    Suspension install..

Oh yea. I followed this one http://www.dndgarage.net/springinstall.htm for the front springs. I later found out that I didn't have to disconnect the tierod end. If I had unlocked the steering wheel, I could have turned the streering wheel to allow the A arm to come down lower.

SCT 3 livewire OR DiabloSport Tuner

If you're a "set and forget" guy, the Predator is pretty much that. Install the tune and enjoy. It's pretty mature and stable and is your 'plug and play' device. If you're the type that wants to tinker with it, you might like the Xcal better. The interface is more crude and most of its features...

    Suspension install..

+1 on not needing a spring compressor. The only other thing I can think of is to PB Blaster the brake caliper bolts tonight.

Initially, clockwise. Then after reading a little and glancing back at the pic, counter-clockwise. Then it would switch.

    Weather & Timing

The theory is that when the engine gets hot, the EEC retards timing. Too hot cylinders are prone to pinging. Hence, when it is cold out, the engine is not so hot and you can afford to have more advance.

    How much?

Walk up to any garage. Even the ones at Pep Boys or Walmart. Talk to the techs. Many of them work on the side and can do all that for a lot less.

    Weather & Timing

I've had aggressive timing on my tune. I had to pull it back a bit during the summer. I've added half of it back in now that it has cooled off a bit. I thought that was the rule when installing a nitrous kit.

    70mm or 75mm Throttle bodie

+1 Sometimes just the act of researching it, shopping for it, waiting for UPS/FedEx to deliver it, and installing, and knowing you have it is where it's at. Many of us who have daily drivers and seldom see the track do it for the fun of it and not necessarily to squeeze out that extra 0.01 sec...

What would you buy with $700?

Holy **** you have a lot of stuff in your car for a 21 year old. Buy a good gun and spend some time at a gun range. :)

    70mm or 75mm Throttle bodie

They look good and they'll sell easy if you de-mod your car. And if sometime down the road you decide to get a power adder, then you're already set.

    performance cams for 2V

I was all about more power when I got started on my car. Life was centered on the 1/8 mile drag strip. Now that I got into autocross, HP isn't everything. Hence, I'm also considering VT Stage 1s. It appears to keep low end power and not have it all at the top. ... subscribing.

Never heard of them till now. I'd go with www.stangsuspension.com any day. They'll match everyone else's prices and they are tried and true to the Stangnet community.

    Long tubes

This is certainly not universal and that is my point. Again, the money involved in getting LT or ST are different. The gains are surely different. When it comes to cost vs gain, everyone has a different opinion. The choices you or anyone made are not universally applicable to everyone with a...

    Long tubes

If you actually read my post, you'd see I was not saying short tubes are better than longtubes for everyone. I said short tubes are better FOR ME because I don't want to pay the higher costs for the extra hp that long tubes will give. Longtubes typically cost more than short tubes and I would...
