    Saleen built 30 cars for Budget in 96, 88 in 97, and 10 in 98. In 1997, 34 cars were sticks, and 54 automatic. All had the mag wheels and sportbar, 2 had white convertible tops, 86 had black convertible tops.

    Where could someone find what a 2001 Roush Stage 1 is worth? 55,000 miles, convertible, auto, pretty much loaded. Silver with black top, black & white leather interior. Any good places to look for prices?

    Roush Saleen Died

    I removed the battery cable after I jum p started my old car and it burned out some electronic part on a car I used to own. I can't remember what part but I had to replace that part & the altenator. Many auto parts places have a machine to check batteries & altenators without have to remove them...

    Thanks Sal for the info. I actually like your color better than mine, (paint-us envy) but even more rare is your stick shift transmission. Mine also has 4:10 gears so I'll be changing the speedo gear this winter. Do you remember if the gear is changed at the end that goes into the transmission...

    Quickstang, if you ever take picture of the radio area of your car feel free to e-mail one to me, I'm curious as to what it's supposed to look like. Mine has an aftermarket radio and it looks out of place in the car.

    luckiest driver ever

    MYTHBUSTERS worked on something similar, they wanted to see how far a car like the General Lee could fly off a 30 or 35 degree dirt ramp at 70 MPH. They did it with an 84 Cutlass (no great loss when THAT was crashed) and it did fly as far as in the TV show, I don't know why 130 feet keep coming...
