    Ok finnaly got the pan off and the k member out on my 97 cobra. Found the number 3 cylinder the tabs on the bearing broke and the hearing was spinning inside the rod jurnol. My question is this bearing is only slighly worn mabe a few thousandths of an inch. Is this enough on these engines to...

    I decided not to buy t I don't want to offset the wheels in any way. That being said I want to buy the upr control arms and k member it states a camber plate is needed. I'm assuming the wheels are pushed out a tiny bit at thenbottom just like installing the newer cobra control arms like my car...

    4.6 cobra engine knock

    I guess I meant to say more of a rod knock sound, But when i said piston slap I was refering too a worn bearing or if the bolts where comming loose the rod would move up toward the valves or head and hit something due to the connecting rod moving away from the crank shaft.
