    iskwezm isn't the only 65 with 275s :-)

Good to hear and with 15s! :nice: A big hammer puts this "impossible" myth to rest... i needed a 5/8 to get mine to fit (shown below), but i think a 3/4 will be perfect.

Wheel weight touches UCA; different wheel weight or file?

the flat stick on weights can replace those, thats all ive ever used on all my wheels. in addition id look to do some slight grinding to the UCA to try to get u down to a smaller spacer. im assuming ur running standard length studs?

Sorta OT: How did this year's Ford Expo in Columbus compare to years past?

I was pretty impressed as this is the first nmra event where ive seen an emphasis on vintage parts/cars. i hear ya, we didnt make one pass where we weren sitting on our ass for an hour in the staging lanes while they cleaned up an oildown. As for the wall contact on friday, that was a...

    Power adder poll

bulk buying aside, the cheapest u can get it in the chicago area is ~$3/lb and typically thats certain days under certain situations(ie car boutique, thursdays during car shows). I used to pay $2-2.50/lb thru a nitrous member club many years back, but it was always a hassel to deal with the...

    Power adder poll

Ive run HCI with a dry kit, was cheap easy and safe way to 400hp. Bottle refills really add up @ $4-5/lb...Another $100 tossed into a weekend track budget. Ran a stroker NA. Great power, great torque, reliable no belts to break or slip and no bottles to fill. Soon up to bat: Stroked...

Group buy: Mustang Steve 13" cobra brakes.

technically I beleive wheel offset relates to how it lines up with your susp. So its the distance from the center of the wheel to where your hub mounts to. So more positive offset will push the hub mounting face out more towards the outside of the car. Using 17x9 as example, the 05 wheels...

Ahh, the kit GP pricing seems a bit more reasonable and fair then. I too would be interested in the bracket/spacer alone princing.

    anyone catch that new OVERHAULIN!

heres a link to the car... http://www.overhaulin.com/gallery31.aspx?season=3 pretty sick looking. While im usually the last to condone a bigger wheel option, the rear is a bit extreme, but since it was possible due to the tubs i see why he went all out

    My tire rubs :( ??'s

still yet to talk with anyone whos used that tool. Unless you plan to do some fender side jobs in the future, you could pay a bodyman to do all yours fenders for that price. Something to consider seeing it looks like your fresh from paint. Otherwise id follow krashs method and ONLY do...

Do I have to tub my 66? and if so Whats involved?

no car will be exactly the same, id just borrow a late model or high bs wheel with your desired tire (275) and a few increments of spacers. Then just start mocking things up using diff incriments of spacer. Doing this with the help of a BFH on the inner fender i came to the conclusion a 5/8...

    EFI benefits with Carb appearance?

To keep the same look you can run a efi spyder intake and accufab makes 2 lines of EFI 4 barrel TB's... their 4150 unit is around $500(4500series ~$600), seems pricey but youd spend the same on a decent carb adn ~$300 ona standard tb&egr
