    You don't need them. Use screw in valve stems and coat the inside of the tire in plain dish soap, it'll help it seal and mount. Don't even really need to balance them as they change shape all the time anyway but sally forth if you wish.

    Yer right. I know I'll go FI at some point here and it's easy to make a relatively quiet muffler noisier when you do that but, you can't go back the other way. The GT500s tend to get a little louder as they age but the quality of the sound is magical.

    I drive to the track 30+ miles one way on non-DOT drag slicks. It is fine if you take it reasonably. I don't even air them up. If you go DR, you may end up picking up pieces of the driveline at the track, which is a little less convenient than swapping rubber there.

    But....umm...can't you set the steering feel separately from the sport setting? I can on my 2014. It is auto and BBP though. On my old 2012 BBP, it would set the steering feel to sport in sport mode and I couldn't change it.
