Cold start idle is about 950 then down to around 900 when warm. I have 42# injectors with 80 Pro-M maf. S-trim on H,C,I 1993. Idle control is not on and my issue is the rpms take too long to get back down to my set idle rpm after I blip the throttle
Never had this issue until PMS was installed. I am not getting any codes. All sensors are new. O2s sensor harness is, and has always been, disconneted per the tuner. I looked over checklist but I didn't see anything for "slow return" to idle. Did I miss something?
I have an '04 PMS on my 93 GT and having trouble with the idle returning too slow after "blipping" the throttle. I have idle control set to "off" and it idles around 900 rpms. Hit the throttle and the rpms take too long to get back to idle (900).
I emailed AFM and got the following response:
"We have used them on both 302's and 351W's as they are truly neither. They are, dimension wise, designed right in the middle."
I've read in another forum where someone states that Dart blocks are hard to keep cool on the street as opposed to FRPP or World Products Man O War. Does this statement hold any validity?
Anyone ever purchase a shortblock from ADPERFORMANCE?
I know many purchase bare blocks etc. from them but was wondering how their machined shortblocks are.
