Well....my Meziere Wp346s Water Pump Finally Said Uncle.

I think I asked them about this and they are rebuildable. I didn't want to make sure a big investment and get stuck if it died. Call them up and ask their tech if they have a rebuild kit or service.

    Rear Upper Control Arm Bushing

Is there a stock type rubber bushing available for the upper control arms in the rear ? I know you can get a factory bushing for the axle side but I don't really want to pay 250 bux for a set of new control arms when I can just replace some rubber bushings for well under 100.

    Coil On Plug Kits....

I looked into aftermarket COPs when I had a failing COP. I was not able to find a single real world example of the aftermarket stuff producing better results than stock. If you do, please post a link. I just replaced the bad COP with a motorcraft unit and haven't had an issue since.

    What About Brakes?

If you are going to try and use what you got, you might want to step up to steel braided lines. You will have to flush the fluid when you put them on anyways and if you upgrade to different calipers later, at worst you will only need new banjo bolts.

    Some Dtc Codes

I wouldn't be too scared of some seafoam in the tank. Take the throttle body off and check out how dirty it is on the back side, that will give you a good idea how clean/dirty it is in there. Also might want to do a compression and leak down test for kicks. If the cylinders are tight and the...

I wasn't sure if it would be ok to post a link to their website or not. I'll PM it to you.

    1996 Mustang Clutch Snapped. Help!

Forget driving it to a mechanic... just fix it yourself. This is such an easy thing to swap out....

    What About Brakes?

I've done the rear brake upgrade as well. The calipers are not different, just the rotors and pads. The rotor is larger and vented instead of solid and the pads are slightly thinner to accommodate the wider rotor. The extra performance gained from the rear upgrade is no where near what the...

    What About Brakes?

The stock GT/v6 calipers are absolute trash. Throw them away and go to the Cobra style front break with the larger rotor. The Bullitt version is coated red with a nice pony on it. The Mach 1 version is a plane jane looking caliper if you want to be inconspicuous. I've done the upgrade and it...

    4.6 Swap

I've heard of Teksid 4.6L motors that have been deburred/worked over holding massive amounts of power, well above 700. The cast iron block is stronger than the Teksid but much heavier (80-100lbs). All of the stock 4.6L blocks can hold a serious bit of power with some work to them. I think the...

    4.6 Swap

If you want to know how far you can push these motors stroked or not, give MMR a call. They have TONS of experience with high HP modulars.

    4.6 Swap

That is the Ford racing crate motor. That might not be the case for a standard motor in a GT which is what he is planning on getting. If you can swing it, get a wrecked Boss, they have the Road Runner motor in them.

Exhaust Long Tube Headers And O2 Sensor Code

I believe you need to retune to fix it. I think you need to have these parameters changed in the tune: o2 transport delay time, modify time delay for closed loop, modify temp for front hego to go closed loop, and heater duty cycle

    Blown Spark Plug Coil Nightmare

You might want to just junkyard a head, recondition that one and swap it in.

    4.6 Swap

Off the top of my head, the only way I can think of to get the factory cluster working with the new motor is to also run your factory 03 ECU and add extra sensors from the 03 to the new motor. So for example, you would need to either put a T in for the oil pressure or have a second spot on the...

    4.6 Swap

The new 5.0 doesn't have a power steering pump on it so either you will have to switch to manual or you will have to run a special accessory bracket. My friend over at high flow fuel was one of the first people to swap a 5.0 into a fox chassis and he has quite a bit of knowledge. If you need...

67 Fastback Front Disc Brake Replacement

Go with a slotted rotor, skip the cross drilled. The braking potential is maximized by the surface area of the face on the rotor. The cross drilled rotors tend to crack around the cross drilled locations and remove real estate from the rotor face. Slotted don't have the problem with cracking...

    Egr Delete Question

Good question. Removing EGR systems on these motors tends to make them run worse, lower HP/TQ and get worse gas mileage. If this is a simple swap to put in a new power plant you should leave it all intact. Are you using the ECU from the 97 ?

    4.6 Swap

Any motor before 99 is going to be a non-PI motor. If you have to smog it, it may not go over too well (especially without a tune) and it also wont have as much power. My advice is to stick with a 99+ motor. You could also go to a 3v or 4v motor but that isn't exactly a direct bolt in swap...
