    Some Dtc Codes

Might want to pull the plugs on bank 2 and check the color. Maybe do a compression test while you are there just for piece of mind. I don't think anything is wrong in the cylinders but its a new to you car so while you are there... If the color on the plugs in bank 2 looks good and you aren't...

    Some Dtc Codes

What year is the Cobra ? The EVAP and air injection system could be due to a bad vacuum line or a connector that came loose. I would imagine the car is running goofy/poorly ?

    Bbk L/t Flange

There is no special connector, it is just a piece of exhaust tubing that has been flared and then they put a 2 bolt sliding flange on the back side of it.

    Ccrm Issue

When I was worried that my ECU was toast, I sent it out for testing. Took about a week before I got it back, they tested the hell out of it and confirmed my ECU to be good. I can send you the contact info it you want. The price was fair and they were really nice guys.

    Fuel Fuel Psi Problem?

There is a set of Ford self tests in there called TIDs which check for missfire (among other things). If you can pull that data you will know if your coils are missfiring. These will not cause a CEL to come on unless they break a certain threshold. I had an issue with COP #8 in my Mach 1 and...

Scarebird Disc Conversion And Other Brake Questions

As rbohm already pointed out, disk and drum rims are the same. I had 67 drums and put the 4 piston K/H front brakes on my 67 and didn't have to change my rims.

    Mustang 2 Front End Conversion?

Great, he had another thread I didn't know about. Big deal. I don't see why you are beating me over the head for no reason. The OP still has yet to reply to the thread. The whole point is to get information and help the OP make the best decision for his needs. Am I missing something else ?

    Mustang 2 Front End Conversion?

Where in the OP does it say he is going to use an aftermarket cross member ? In the last 5 years my budget has admittedly gotten a lot larger (yay for having a career and being single with no kids) but I still very much remember what it is like to have virtually no money to do an upgrade. That...

    Mustang 2 Front End Conversion?

rbohm, I agree there are things about the MII setup that CAN be an advantage but I think this guy should evaluate his goals with the car before going and bolting in a stock MII setup. Also, he is looking at using a STOCK MII setup, not a nice aftermarket unit with a bunch of upgrades/redesigns...

    Mustang 2 Front End Conversion?

Stop. Don't do anything.... seriously. What are you trying to accomplish by puting a MII front end on your 65 ? I'm sure there are better ways to get what you want without butchering the front end.

    Tranny Cooler

Thermostatic valve on bypass to the tranny cooler when open... forget running it through the radiator =) It is more complicated in some ways but I like this method best personally. If not, run it to the cooler first then to the radiator.

Engine 302 Looses Torque When Hot

Does it sputter or is it just a dog ? Could it be vapor lock ?

    Double Check My Procedure Here..

What is the ratio on your rocker arms ? 1.6 or 1.7 ? Maybe that would account for the extra length needed ?

    Front Wheels Too Far Forward

If you are running into really weird issues with where your wheels are ending up and no amount of aligning is helping you may need to take your car to a frame shop and have it double checked.

    2003 Gt Engine Failure

Glad you got it fixed. It must feel SO good to drive it.

    2003 Gt Engine Failure

Sounds like a a guy who actually does troubleshooting directly. He might be able to narrow it down. Might be worth it to spend 50 bux on a multimeter and learn how to use it. You can save yourself a lot of time if you get good with one of those.... Good luck with this other guy.

    2003 Gt Engine Failure

Not that I know of. If your car is a stick shift you shouldn't actually need to in order for the car to properly operate. Just unplug the thing and see what happens.

    2003 Gt Engine Failure

Send the ECU out for testing. If it comes back clean it could very well be bad wiring or a bad ground.

    2003 Gt Engine Failure

I would be surprised if they let you remove the ECU there and walk away with it. The car is inop at that point which deals wont want on their lot unless they know it is that way or that made it that way in the course of their work. Also they wont usually let people work on their own cars on...
