    Seems like i have it pin pointed to the drivers side valve cover towards the front of the engine. 5 or 6. Didnt knock when i first started the car but once it warmed up i could rev it and get it to rattle. Oh and the sound almost sounds like a grandfather clock. Cept rapid when RPMs r increased.

    Find his old post and listen to his sound clip. You will retract your statement to drive it after u hear the noise its making.

    Just listend to your clip and your noise is a lot louder then mine is. Mine only comes about at 2k RPM. And after the car is warmer its not nearly as loud. I cant hear it at idle. Does your sound like its coming from the back of the engine?

    Hahah Nice. What a coincidence. I just seafoamed my white 99 a few days ago as well. Cleared up some engine noise at 2k rpm and Similar amount of smoke too. With your dumps the smoke just appears tho hehe.
