    Engine Cam swap question

How are you tightening down and adjusting the rockers when you see the play? Are you using the torque wrench and counting the turns? Every rocker is being adjusted on the bottom of the cam lobe? Didn't swap the heads left to right?

Engine No start after timing chain replacement??

OP, sorry about your luck, man. Like it's been said, we all have our horror stories. I had a 3-cent washer cause a total engine rebuild. I still have the bent and broken washer. Good luck getting your motor fixed up. I'd be thinking about having a serious talk with the mechanic that did the...

Trick Flow Stage 1 cam with 1.7 rockers with stock pistons

Check it, check it, check it. That's the only way way you will know for sure. And engines are way too expensive to take any chance. I checked mine when I built my motor and had plenty of room. KB replacement pistons, TFS1 cam, 1.7 FMS rollers, Eddy Brock 60cc Performer heads. I got some...

Engine How many amps does a Mercury Villager fan pull?

You could measure the ohms of the fan motor, divide by 14.5 (max volts) and that will get you close for running amps. 14.5 volts divided by, say, .145 ohms = 100 amps. .100 ohms = 145 amps. .253 ohms = 57.31 amps.

    PCV and valve cover breather?

Maybe I'm not reading this right, but isn't what you describe the stock system? A breather hose from the passenger valve cover oil filler to the throttle body, and a vac hose from the upper intake to the rear of the lower intake with the PCV valve in it... isn't this a stock system?

Seems to be running rich, Ideas??

The connector that you pictured seems to be the EGR connector. The 3 wires should be colored orange/white, brown/light green and black/white. The O/W wire is power that is supplied to several different sensors. The solid orange wire you are looking for...there is an orange from the salt shaker...

    Why 3G?

Do you already have the proper crimper to crimp onto 4ga cable? If you don't, and don't know someone that does, I guarantee it'll cost you more than $40. Dont use a hammer, punch , vise, etc. or you're just asking for it to fail. $40 is cheap, man.
