    loosen motor mounts and jack up the motor with a piece of 2by4 between the jack and the motor get wood and put between jack and motor then lift it till you have enough room then take it out from the top or the bottom.

    no, it wont pass visual without it, im guessing its not on the back of the heads what heads are you running? stock? internally, there are holes in each exhaust port that lead to a single hole in the back of each head , those holes are for the tube.

    it goes from exhaust to the smog pump. there are 2 pipes that go to the smog pump the lower one goes to the exhaust the upper goes to the back of the heads(thermactor ports)

    if u get the stock headers then yeah you probably will pass. you just need to have all your smog stuff hooked up mainly the thermactor pipe that goes to the h-pipe and egr is important for it to pass visual. what smog ball thing are you talking about? where is it mounted?
