I actually ran the wires earlier this summer when I had some time off. :nice: Yeah, I wouldn't really call what they send directions. That's more like a quick start guide. Lol There have been quite a few times during the install when I just sat there thinking WTF do I do now? I had...

Finally got my stuff welded up today at work. And no, I didn't do it. I left that to someone who's actually done it before. :p Hopefully this was the last purchase to make the car start up. Air meter installed. Wideband installed. Innovate needs to get their directions straightened out...

I know what you mean, it seems worse when you have a worn out posi unit (like mine). Just trying to snag 2nd can catch me off guard sometimes. He would definitely be surprised. Lol. Because he sold it to me with the engine sitting next to it. :p

Mother of god. I bet that's a handful to drive being a stick car.

    Part 2 of my build

I'm still nervous about hacking at my bumper. I guess I'll just have to give it ***. Lol.

Makes me jealous. What's the basic setup? They're not flow disasters, and yes I am. I've got a cut-out if I want the 10 or 12 hp I'll pick up by not using the mufflers.

Yeah, I still have to go through and zip tie at all the fittings. Don't want to be popping them off left and right. Lol Yeah, I'm too cheap to spend $80 on a 140mph V8 cluster. So the tach doesn't read right, and I have a crappy speedo. Alright. And yes, it's gonna be in the passenger...

Got my gauges mounted. My filler neck gasket came in, so I put my tank back in. It had 5 gal. of fuel in it, what a pain in the dick by yourself. Got all the vacuum line ran for my wastegate and BOV. Goal is to get my stuff welded up at work tomorrow and I just need to tie up ends and...

Does anyone know if the blow through style PMAS meters need to be mounted straight up and down? And will a coupler 2in ahead towards the intake interfere with readings?

Ugh, today involved way more cussing and swearing then yesterday. And it feels like I got a lot less done. Lol. Started by going to town to pick up some vac. line, some bolts, a tap for the pan, and a rubber plug to block off my pcv. Got my intake back on, and some odds and ends under the...

    Part 2 of my build

Alright, I'll punch my hole today. Then snag the right tap from work tomorrow. I'm headed to O'reillys this morning for my vac. hose and new bolts for the wastegate. Lol. My turbo and header flange matched up, but the steel gasket that Master Power sent didn't. So I just put copper rtv between...

So did you just run a piece of bent flat bar or something up straight up to the core support? Yeah, it really wasn't that bad. But I think I still need to get after it a bit more. There is clearance when the sway bar has the load of the car on it. When the control arms drop, the pipe...

    Another Turbo Fox Build Thread

Spent about half of today on the car. Got some help from my dad on the hotside setup, so that sped things up some. Started by mounting the turbo to the header, installing 02's, and clocking the compressor housing. Wrapped the downpipe, I don't see reason to go any farther down because it's...

Yeah, I'll keep you posted on that bracket. And yes, my PMAS is blow-threw. But I'm still waiting for it, they said their order of them would be in middle of last week. So I expect to see it before this Wed.

    Part 2 of my build

So did you do the punch method to tap your pan? Do you just run some vacuum hose from your wastegate and BOV to a vacuum source? You'll probably want to wrap that downpipe to save plug wires and keep from really heat soaking that upper intake pipe. But, you're getting your problems...

Thanks for the tips. :nice: I clocked the center section and got my cold piping mocked up. I've got the downpipe wrapped, going to wrap the crossover, and have a turbo blanket on my to buy list. Do you think the wideband sensor would be alright just off the downpipe? If I had to guess...

That's the only picture on my disc of the compressor housing. But, you're right. I never noticed, the part of the directions you quoted doesn't make sense with the picture. Another thing I wasn't clear on, he says you need to clock the center section of the turbo so the oil feed and drain...

Whats everyones opinion on high dollar Spark Plug wires? They worth it?

Perfect, i'm ordering them right now. That'll help out a bunch to keep wires away from my turbo headers. :nice:

Did you buy the msd 5550's? If so, what do they mean by "multi-angle boots"? I see they are a straight boot, but do they flex or something?
