Has anyone here ever made their own instrument cluster?

I made my own, I epoxied a sheet of carbon fiber over the existing one and cut new holes in it for the gauges & turn signals.

Lets see them wheel and brake upgrades

Mine's a little wierd but I'll post up. I'm running Wilwood Forged Billet Superlites (4 piston) all around on custom brackets, '95 spindles up front & an '03 Cobra IRS out back. For rotors I have c5 Vette rotors that I redrilled and the rear are the stock Cobra rotors. I guess a Cobra setup...

    Air/Fuel gauge install

http://www.theturboforums.com/smf/index.php?topic=77263.0 This has information on building an A/F meter on the cheap, you still need the wideband & something you can set outputs on, like an lc-1.

    turbo question

That turbo is way too samll for a v8 application, if you had two of them you might be better off. You might be able to mod the intercooler to fit (I don't know the dimensions). Depending on how much power you are wanting to make you'll run out of injector pretty quick.

87-93 saleen frontairdam on a foureye

No chop needed. http://www.fquick.com/garages/Ford/Mustang/1986/7220 The car is a genuine Saleen but has had the air dam replaced with a later one. Personally I like the '85-'86 one better, but that doesn't look bad either.

    Dont you hate inconsiterate kids...

I was on break at my old job and I decided to roll down to the store. I bought a 5.0 rag and was flipping through it on the way back to my Mustang. Outta nowhere this kid walking out to his car starts talking trash & making fun of Mustangs. I didn't say anything, I just got in my car. I...

I've been drifting all my life, it's called growing up at the end of a long, winding dirt road! Dukes of Hazzard FTW!

My new Ashtray delete/ switch panel

Here's mine but I cheated. I bought a Moroso switch panel, but it was too wide for it to go where I wanted. After measuring the panel I copied it with one less switch & narrowed the panel a little. Now it fits. Btw, I have a 4 eye so my console is different, the panel replaced the ash tray.

    what's the deal? 50 Resto

I spent alot of time behind a speed shop counter, and I couldn't tell you how many times in a day people would call up and say stuff like " I plan on spending alot of money" and they are asking for a price on something that is less than $50. Honestly most of the time we blew those kind of...

    Drift 5.0

I like the look of a no-wing hatch, so much that I just bought a wingless hatch for my '89 (too lazy to weld up holes). Here's a vid of one drifting (or just acting a fool, you be the judge) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPXRXT3YQjY

    Don't buy Granatelli!!!

Just by searching "Granatelli" on pretty much any of late model Mustang forums could turn up several pages of dissatisfied people with thier products. I've never run any of their stuff, but with that kind of reputation I don't think I ever will.

I used the holesaw method...the trunk mat covers up the holes nicely!

    IRS in a fox

The stick axle 8.8 flange interchanges with the IRS one, you could always go that route. I paid $400 for my '03 IRS less brakes, I had some Wilwood calipers laying around so I got creative & machined some brackets for them. Now to figure out an e-brake.
