    best way to clean parts???

I've used lacquer thinner before with good results, as long as you want the paint gone too.

40 coats of flexible build primer and 5 coats of semi-gloss later...

I need to do this as well. I've been thinking about it, why not use some of the flexible body fillers (for bumper covers & stuff) instead of all that primer? You'd need a few coats of primer over the filler but nowhere near that many. Plus I would think there would be less of a chance for...

    Ford Racings Radiator is Crap!!!

You might try running a radiator cap with a sacrificial anode, that way the anode corrodes and not your radiator.

    Holy Ghetto 5.0...

If I ever came into a situation to where I could buy a real Lambo, I'd put regular doors on it.

    How to ship a motor??

I sold an engine on ebay awhile ago, I stacked some 4x4's till the pan rail could sit on them and screwed them to a pallet. Then I shrink wrapped and banded the whole thing down. It got there without any problems.

79-86 guage mounting. lets see what youve come up with.

Yours looks good too, I was going to make one out of aluminum but since I have the Ultra Lite gauges I figured it would look kind of bland. Hissing Cobra I paid around $50 for the piece of carbon fiber, but I bought a big piece in case I messed up. You might get by cheaper than that...

79-86 guage mounting. lets see what youve come up with.

I'm doing the Autometer swap as well, but I'm using the 5" tach and speedo. Using these means the other gauges have to moved out, so I glued a piece of carbon fiber over the factory bezel (mine was pretty bad anyways). The rest of my gauges should be here aound Tues. or so. I had a little...

    SN95 Seats in a Fox

They bolt right in, I have a set in my '89. They do sit a little higher, I just lay the seat back a little. It feels funky but it's not terrible.

do all your cars have the "dog tags"

The buck tag is a metal tag that is attached to the core support. It has a bunch of numbers stamped on it, if you know how to decode it you can find out how your car was originally equipped. There are websites that can decode them.

BEHOLD!!! 87-93 2.5" Carbon Fiber Cowl FOUND!!

I was thinking the same thing. I've actually seen it on another car but it was a late model Camaro SS with a stripe coming out of the scoop. It looked pretty good. BTW I'd almost bet money that those CF hoods are fiberglass hoods w/CF on top of them so there wouldn't be any weight savings...

DEEP DISH on Fox PIC REQUEST

The wheels are pretty cheap, you can get them off ebay for about the same as some of the Ford replica wheels. They don't make silver centered ones anymore though, just gold and gunmetal. My car doesn't look that great, most of you guys' cars are way nicer than mine, so I thank everyone for...

DEEP DISH on Fox PIC REQUEST

It's not a Ford type wheel, but I have sort of deep dishes on my '86: I'm not done with it yet.

    IRS

The Cobra swap is almost a bolt in, I have one in my '86 coupe. The mn12 stuff won't fit at all unless you're a pretty good fabricator. I've heard of the swap being done back when the mn12 platform first came out, but it took alot of work and fabrication.

Cobra r hood on my car? what do u think?

Personally I don't like that hood, or any of the other ones that have the later model centers grafted on a fox hood. The body lines are all wrong.

03 cobra IRS in a 93 Gt Pics

You can use any Cobra cat-back, but it has to be modified. It needs to be shortened before the mufflers and the rearmost hangers need to be reworked a little.

Looks nice, I need to get off my butt and get my car going! I did the swap in my garage with average-guy tools, it wasn't hard.

YOUR opinion on REAR SEAT DELETE?

I made mine myself out of .030 aluminum, it might weigh 10 lbs if that much. There is no way it's heavier than the seat. Here's a pic: I still need to make some rings to trim around the bars and touch up my cage

When I convert my Capri back to four eye....

They look like SVO sail panels to me, four eye cars have smaller quarter windows.
