    35th Anniv New 35th Owner #281

Solid car. As for the interior, there is a vendor(TMI) on Stangnet that does reproduction interiors, however he does not have the "Limited" interior yet. I emailed the guy some time ago and he said they could do one, just needed samples from a real "Limited Edition" to match. You might think...

35th Anniv Picking one up tomorrow and bringing it home.

The "gift set" was nice to get, although the one I got from Ford 1st had a convertible instead of a hardtop. I called the number and they sent me another complete set with correct model. I still have it packaged up in storage. I did take the car our however and display it. The "Limited Edition"...

I wanted the chin spoiler when the Machs came out. I then heard alot of incidents where they tore it off. Changed my mind.

Shopping for a new Mustang, what the hell is wrong with people?

The really nice ones you're looking for are not for sale in ordinary newspapers or autotrader. Most of those change hands before they ever get to CL or otherwise. -Jason

    35th Anniv Covertible Boot

The main issues I have seen with "L.E.'s" over the years are what make them unique. The silver inserts in the door panels start to pull away over time and even mine have a bit(I need to work on that, but I REALLY hate to get into those door panels.) The rockers are prone to damage and there are...

There are still a few still out there, but I guess to say a full 1/3rd are probably wrecked, trashed or forgotten by now. The 35th "L.E." was virtually unknown when released in 1999. I happen to have seen the official brochure in mid '99 and loved it, not knowing I'd own one months later. Once...

35th Anniv License plate woes, now I'm bummed out

Yike! I hate those front plates! WE don't have them in GA yet. When I bought my GT in 1999, the dealer had used those self tapping screws to apply a dealer tag...:nonono: I rode around with that for many years, until I had a minor accident and put a small hole in the cover. Insurance paid to...

I'm currently at 75,850. It was my daily for first 2 years after I bought it and from there I slowed significantly. Now I my drive it once or twice a week otherwise the wife and I carpool. I still have my original mats, I traded my 1994 GT for the 1999 and took the mats out of it..and kept the...

The rear bumper letter inserts are a nice addition. Especially on "LE's". My GT is bone stock except for that and tinted windows. I've always loved the way it came from the factory. Jason

Your GT VIN# is not among the 4,628 "Limited Editions" GT VIN#s I have. Please check your paint code as Performance Red is "ES". Rio Red is "E8". The "Limited Edition" GT did not come in any other red. Please also...

35th Anniv 35th Anniversary Limited Edition wheels, whats the value?

Considering they are one of the rarest wheels ever put on a Mustang GT, values are high. Center caps alone can run up to $100 each. I love these wheels and since there were less than 20,000(4,628 x 4) ever made and even fewer now. They can go for some high prices. I wished I had a backup set. -Jason
