    I'm in the same boat with a 1999 GT with only 74,000. I only put about 1000 miles a year now. I have flushed the coolant about 3+ years/5000 miles or so ago. Still change the oil about once a year or so, just for :poo:z and giggles. The rear diff has never been opened and the plugs/etc. are...

    Sorry, but I mean the shifter the part under the shift boot. Could that have been changed out? I've taken my 35th knob off a couple of times and do not remember any adjusters or anything. I do seem to remember I had to really tighten it down to get the shift pattern lined up. I just don't know...
