    Cold air intake? Dual exhausts?

Make sure you integrate the original MAF sensors' screen into the new system in the same location for consistant air flow readings. GT

    Valve Noise..

Seems I read in some of the exerpts from Sean Hylands book that he recommends to not lean on it until the coolant temp reaches at least 140*. I don't until op temp anyway. As far as the tolerances, I doub't there are any differences between the '96-'98 mods and the '99+ PI counterparts...

    Whiny noise in first gear

A turkey blaster..... Thats good! Well, take your turkey blaster (or suction gun), some new P/S fluid and a jug for old fluid. Draw out all the fluid you can from the reservior and refill it. Drive it for a day or 2 and repeat. See if it calms down after a few repititions of this. It'll...

who makes headlights that actually fit?

I also have the Cobra style lights from DEPO. 3 years old now with no fit or fading issues. Would highly recommend. As for the corner housings, I have never seen any aftermarket housings or seals that fit as well as the OEM pieces. I'll go back to Ford for them when the time comes. GT

    Valve Noise..

I run 0W-30 Mobil 1 & Motorcraft filter. Instant oil pressure on cold start-up and no clatter. No issues. It is possible you have a filter w/ a defective anti-drainback valve though. Stay away from the 5W-20 weight, especailly if you tend to lean on yours frequently. The 5W-30 has a...

    Strange stalling issue

With the addition of the LT's, the upstream O2's bung location is significantly farther downstream than with the OEM manifolds so it takes longer for them to receive/send signals to the ECM. I have read about this issue and its effects many times. GT

My Ignition Fell Apart - HELP

I had this happen on my '66 Coupe years ago. Got to work, turned the ignition off and the switch fell apart under the dash. Weird! Replaced the unit. GT

    Newbie needs help!

What tire brand are they? Some brands just suck... Ford (hub centric) wheels or aftermarket? Many aftermarket wheels are just lug centered and that doesn't get it. Take them back and have the wheels/tires checked for radial/lateral runout. Watch as this is done if you can. A good...

Some of the COP assembly's "boots" need replacing maybe? I had this trouble with my daughter's '00 Taurus. GT

    Reviews of MM's Panhard Bar?

I installed the MM PHB on my '98 in approx. 11 hrs. myself. Not a bad install overall, just time consuming. No other mods are necessary. Just follow the steps 1 by 1. Very predictable handling. Feels very tight. Should have been an OEM part from '79 up..... GT

    Can't start Mustang...strange electrical gremlin?

Sounds like the starter relay or solenoid. I always went back to Ford or NAPA for these kind of parts with my old '66. Had problems with aftermarket relays. Would be a good time to replace the battery cables as well. Get the good 4 gage ones with the integrated terminals. The "splice on"...

    Will I gain anything?

It takes quite a few intake mods to "peg" the OEM MAF sensor. Stick with it and spend your money elsewhere. GT

    Tire Pressure, need help!

Yes, some loss is normal. +1 on the press check monthly. I tend to set my fronts a touch higher (say 35 psi.) to help control the tire edge feathering from turning. Keep up with the rotations as well. GT

seatbelts wont retract all they way - how do I get to them to fix?

I asked my Ford "Techie" about the seat belt retractors. They have notoriously weak springs. He did mention that extending the belts all the way out and letting them retract did help but..... the updated OEM replacements are the only real fix. I've seen them for about $75 a piece. GT

Does a large plug gap really cause pinging?

Try this. Clean the MAF sensor, temp sensor (use MAF cleaner only!) and TB out. Set the plug gap to spec's and hook the EGR back up. Disconnect the battery for 15 min's & let the PCM reconfigure itself and drive it again. The EGR actually helps reduce cylinder temps as well as help with...

no movement after clutch cable install

Stock "plastic" quadrant still intact? If so, pull up on clutch pedal firmly with your foot. You should hear it either click or hear a ratcheting sound. This is the cable adjustment procedure. If this works, you should be good to go. If not, there are other issues. GT
