    Once you get a programmer to pep up the factory sluggish shifting the auto's are alot of fun the drive. If you don't plan on racing a lot and you haven't spent a lot of time in a manual shift I would go for the auto. Especially since there has been an ongoing thread that is about 10 pages...

    It shouldn't make a differance wether it's the special edition or not because the special edition just had some cosmetic differances but not any hp improvments.

    as for the floor capet get a hair dryer and go to town the long it stays wet the worse it's going to smell. The scented carpet stuff can be bought at your local supermardet or wally world

    I use to have a jeep and it got rained in all the time when the top was off. So i've done this several times but the Jeeps have drain plugs in the bottom so it's not as bad.

    The xcal and predator will both do it. Or you can get a speedcal from dallas mustangs for like $60-$70. since you'll prob drop the money on a xcal or pred later go ahead and get it now then do the gear change.
