    Mustang II popularity

For as much negative stuff I hear on line and read about these cars I never expected positive feedback from the public when I take mine out. But were ever I go with the car people are drawn to it and love it. As far as parts, exhaust (headers), and trans swaps they are difficult to find and do...

    Need a carb guru...

I think you are talking about a edelbrock 600 carb 1406. I had the 1405 if I remember correctly same thing but it was a manual choke though. It really held my motor back. I had the same troubles I changed to a quick fuel and will not look back. The edelbrock is ok but never felt right when you...

    Problems

I am assuming you didnt have the stumble before you changed distributor. With the mechanical advance you may have to put lighter springs in so it advances quicker.

    Oil Pan ?

The fox pan will not fit the II. A regular front sump 302 pan will not fit with the girdle the studs hit the pan in the rear. This happened to me over the summer. I could have tried to hammer it out but I just ended up going with the milodon pan. It was a unexpected expense but I am happy I did it.

    rebuilding a t-5

It all depends on what you are doing. Any way you go you will spend money on this. The only cheaper route is to rebuild what you have but thats not all that cheap to do plus like you said it will only last so long before it happens again you will spend more money in the long run then getting...

    big block in a fox

Thanks for the picture I havent seen a 460 fox in a very long time. I was going to do this to my 87 GT but I went with a stroked 351 for the trans options and weight. The car is geared towards handling. One day I would love to do this swap.

    power rack vs manual

I just did mine for weight savings and oil pan clearance. With the 225s I had on there and the car not in motion it was hard to turn the wheel, rolling its fine. I did run a power rack with out a pump for a few years I never had any troubles with it.
