    Shock options for mini tub?

    I looked for pics, guess i dont have any.. ill take some when i get home. basically, i cut the shock mount tab off, took some 1/4in plate, made a 3in extension down. Welded that all back so it looked the same, just lower, and then welded two triangles, one on each side for support.

    I had the same issue when i changed my rear suspension. How i solved it was extending and gusseting the shock mount on spring support. I think i dropped it down 3inches to give me the travel i needed. still kept the mounting location above the cal trac mount so no big deal.

    I have farmers stated value insurance. No milage limit, or any special rules. Just get a check written minus deductable if the car ever gets totaled.. I think i pay $30ish bucks a month for 30K coverage.

    id say if you have studs, no way, if you dont, its ganna be a paid still. even with my towers notched, it was extremly tight. Best of luck! lol

    Has to be front sump like said above. I have a stock pan in mine right now because i couldnt justify the EFFFIN crazy price of a 7qt oil pan when i was ready to start my motor..

    YouTube - ‪65 Mustang‬‏ Pretty good outing friday night. I hit a 11.4 @ 116 on 7lbs before popping a head gasket 4th pass. Ganna tear into it within a day or so and see what things look like, make a couple adjustments and then ill head back to the track.
