    Ditto...and NICE gift for him. I would agree with the above post: Steeda pulleys at the website listed above. Good for about 8-10 HP at the motor. Steeda tri-ax pulley. Same website as above, about $179 or so I believe. Just makes shifting the car fast much safer and feels better overall...

    Opinions on the 99/01 kenne bell

    All these kits are good...Voretech, ProCharger, KB....it's about what you want out of the kit as they provide different benefits. $6800 is just too steep for a blower though. Like others have said, for that cost you might as well just get a turbo.

    '01 cobra forged internals shopping

    There are others much better suited for these questions.....but I haven't heard of anyone running dished pistons. Also, the forged crank is fine...it's just the rods and pistons you need to address. Others will chime in..... :nice:

    By the time you piece this together, you would be better off buying on 03 Cobra. Someone tried this before and it was a long learning process. KB is releasing their kit tomorrow basically. Check them out.

    Look back at KB's website on Friday...that is the day they will be adding the pricing, information, and order sheet for the 99-01 KB kit. There was a thread at www.svtperformance.com explaining this. There are 20 people that put down deposits, so they are the first to get their kits.

    Interesting. Was just curious if I was missing something. I ran 13.4-13.7's while n/a with miscellanious mods along the way. 4.10 gears, IRS and both street and Nitto drags during different track days.

    They don't have to be....I went almost a year before I determined that I was no longer happy with the stock shocks/struts. They weren't matched with the lowering springs. But you can wait if money is an issue. To do it again I would do it all at once though.

    Mid 13's....13.2 or so if you are a good driver with the Nitto drags. Just my guess though. You listed MSD coils and wires....on a 99 4V?

    First Time Running in the 1/4. Very happy with the times.
