    Windsheild Chrome Removal Tool?

A flathead and patience, lol. They just pop right off if you know where the tabs are. The only way you'll ruin the chrome is if you start prying real hard in a place between the tabs. If you get close to the tab and pry with a flathead it should pop right off.

    Starting/elctrical problem

Bump...Help anyone? We read about 12.63 V after a full charge, started it up and while idling it read about 12.4 V, then cut it off and the battery only read 12.5 V Any body out there that can help? We had the alternator tested and it was putting out about 13.5 volts, had the battery fully...

    Oil Leak

No, we're using regular oil. My uncle who built the engine said we shouldn't really ever need to use synthetic, so we probably won't.

    Starting/elctrical problem

Ok, soo, when I try to start it the starter doesn't have enough juice to turn the engine over. Our battery is only a week old, because this is the second time this has done what it is doing. Our last abttery did this same thing after a couple weeks, so we got another and now the new one won't...

    No BRAKES!AHHH

Hehehehe, I feel like an absolute dumbass...I assumed the brakes could only be adjusted to tighter, rather than both ways, without pulling the hub. Sooo, I adjusted it to the extreme, in the front, thinking it was as far out as they could go. Well, needless to say, I loosened them all the way...

    Oil Leak

We have breathers on the valve covers and felpro gaskets. The covers are finger tightened down then snugged with a wrench. When running it there is no oil coming out of the valve covers, but underneath looking atthe heads there is moisture around where they sit in the block. The oil is closer on...

    No BRAKES!AHHH

Ok, so as it says, we have no brakes. We have all around drums. Single bowl MC that we replaced yesterday. We've bled the brakes several times. They work at slower speeds but not great. We can lock the backs up somewhat, but not the fronts. The brakes are temperamental, and occasionally have...

    Oil Leak

Lol, that's exactly what I was thinking. We still haven't tracked down the leak so let the ideas fly.

    Oil Leak

We checked the valve covers and they seem to be clean around them. We think the head gasket could be pinched or loose or something, possibly allowing oil to be squirted through a small gap and it ending up all over the bellhousing and headers. Does this sound plausible to anyone, or has anyone...

    Oil Leak

Hey guys. I've got an oil leak and can't tell where it's coming from. It's the original 289, C4 combo. Engine was rebuilt recently and maybe has 2 miles on it since the rebuild, if that. It pours smoke from underneath the car, which we have determined is from an oil leak dripping onto the...

Quick Quick Final Thing Before The Drive!!!!!!

Hehehe, make sure your neutral safety switch wires clear the headers. Took ours on its first drive in 10 years today. Got it back, killed it then tried to start it back up and wouldn't start. Troubleshooted for an hour before we realize the headers had melted through the neutral safety switch...

    Guages question

We've got the opposite problem. Out voltage and temp guages work, but not our oil or fuel guage. We've determined that the fuel guage works, because when we ground the guage itself it goes straight to full. but we don't have a full tank. We're thinking our fuel guage problem might be a bad...

    Guages question

Our dash lights were real dim until we replaced the light switch. Now our dash lights are bright, but our guages don't work.

    Guages question

Hi guys. I searched for an answer to my question but really only turned up stuff on the newer mustang boards. Question: We get continuous voltage into the instrument panel voltage regulator and pulsing(intermittent) voltage out to the guages. Is this normal? Our guages aren't working. We do...

Do the fuel lines rust also?

We did the same thing tonight. We filled the tank with about 6 gallons of gas then syphoned it until it until the gas came through fairly clean. There were some big chunks of stuff that came through, so hopefully we got most of it out.

Might want to take off your fenders if they are painted or in goo shape, so they aren't scratched or dinged.
