A burnout pic from this weekend

We're rednecks, what can I say? :D It's a *very* rural 1/8 mile track, and the rules were pretty lax. In essence, we got what we paid for, though. Prep was nonexistent, but we made them spray some VHT when a few guys had some scary launches. They told us the asphalt surface simply doesn't...

A burnout pic from this weekend

The pass where here crashed is at 4:08 or so in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWA_YWKu7HQ I'm the one in the black shirt standing there watching the scene unfold. My friend was smart enough to keep clicking photos. Moments before it was my first pass of the day, a...

    MPG

Half a tank of gas consumed on a 92 mile drive this weekend! Probably another 1/8 of a tank at the track, and I decided to stop to refill on the 92 miles back home since I wasn't sure I was going to make it... :rlaugh:

A burnout pic from this weekend

Thanks! I handed my camera to a friend and told him I was going to go make a hit. The rest are my shots, I'll start with fox body stuff first, of course: This car is scary fast, and a slick track caused it to crash during the event. :( Damage was minimal, you can see it in the burnout...

A burnout pic from this weekend

This weekend was cool! My company and two others rented an 1/8 mile track for the day for our local SVTOA chapter. Perfect weather (a little hot, but it could have been much worse) and a great turnout. It was fun to have the keys to the amusement park! :nice: I've got lots of other...

Nice run! What kind of numbers does your fox see on the dyno?

    Everybody in....debate

LOL! We think the same way, once again. I was reading through the thread thinking, "if he wants an expensive fox body, he can just buy mine". haha

    Homemade Boost Pipe

My UPR pipe made more boost on a built h/c/i 306 than my homemade pipe made on the stock motor (same pulley/v2 s-trim). Considering the boost loss that should have been seen with the much better flowing top end, the UPR piece was worth the few extra bucks. Homemade: UPR:

What dye are you guys using for your interiors?

SEM gets my vote, also. I've been using their products for over 10 years now, and have never had a negative experience. :nice:

    Show some interior mods...

Drew it in CAD, and cut it on my CNC machine. :D I rarely even see a 79-86 anymore in my area, but I'll keep my eyes open. I have done a custom, aftermarket gauge dash in one before.

    Show some interior mods...

I think I could kill some bandwidth on this thread! :p Here are a few old and a few new projects of mine: Custom lower door panels in my 92: Another set of door panels: Crappy pic of my hatch area: Custom double DIN dash kit and center dash gauge pods: 94-04...

    Respect

There's a pretty well-attended import hangout spot not far from my house. Theres a local pizza place I like right in the same parking lot. On a nice Friday or Saturday night, I'll call in a pie and hop in the stang to go pick it up. Coming rolling into the group with a healthy lope and the...

The thread of the nicest FOXES!

Haha, I've watched this thread forever and realized I've never posted in here. Here's my 92 LX, hope you like it. 5 speed, forged 306 H/C/I/S-trim, all supporting mods in place. 425rwhp/447ftlbs torque mild pump gas tune on a Dynojet 248x. No time slips, at least for a few more weeks.

IS DC Control Still in Business?

Very happy with my DC Control/Black Magic Extreme combo. The Flexalite controller was pure sh1t, went through three of them in no time. Bought Baskin's control, problem solved. It's really a nicely built part, down to the wire/connectors. He uses quality materials to make a good product...
