    Question about 03 cobra rear end

    I guess my question is why would you want to - that IRS is pretty heavy. if I were you and you just wanted a stronger rear, just get a 8.8 from a GT. I had too many problems with the IRS when I had my 03 cobra, so I wouldn't do it just for that fact alone. Good luck with what ever you do.

    Thanks for the replies. I'm just torn because the car is pretty nice...I just really worry about how long the bottom end will last (like you guys said). and I really can not afford to have the car down - or to replace the rods and pistons any time soon.

    Hey y'all... I have a lead on a Memphis 6115 for $250....have any of y'all ever used this amp or heard anything about it? It's supposed to be 500 watts, and I don't think I really need that much power, but it seems like a good price... Let me know what y'all think. Thanks
