Pro M 77 or 80 are the only ones I would ever bother with. I've seen/heard good things about the 80, and can vouch for the 77 from personal experience.

I have MAC LT's, catted h-pipe and Super Turbo cat back on my 95. Sounds ok, but not the best. The 89 has BBK LT's, o/r h-pipe, and Ultra Flow cat back...that's the way a car should sound, no doubt. Kinda quiet and burbley at idle, but screams past 3.5K.
MMMMM

Agreed.
If could've found a reasonably priced yellow GT, I woulda bought it.
Seems people get rather attached to those yellow cars :D
BTW, I remember seeing on one of the local boards (KC area) of a guy with a modded (mostly appearence and handling) 94 Cobra he's thinking about...
Watch message board classifieds.
I picked up my 95 w/ just over 100K, very good condition, w/ H/C/I, gears, full exhaust, radiator, etc. for $5900 a couple months ago. I found it on the corral, and had to travel to Galveston to pick it up, but I'd say it was well worth it!

I was wondering the same about my car, but I couldn't tell ya. The water pump went out on it before it got very cold and I still haven't gotten around to fixin it:(

$5900 for my 95 GT 2 months ago. Had h/c/i, exhaust, radiator, clutch, most all of the bolt-on type stuff, and 105K. Other than the water pump going out on it 2 weeks after I bought it, no problems here.

For the kind of guages you got (temp and volt) I think it'd be fine. If it was boost, fuel press. etc. I'd see the poit of it being more visible. You don't really need to keep constant tabs on your volts, though.
I'll have to get off my butt and go snap a pic of my car as I have 3 small guages...
Have you thought about doing the prep work yourself, and then having a shop do the painting?
From what I've heard, most of the problems that arise from cheap paintjobs (ala Maaco) are due to improper prep, not the actual painting.
J
I'll 100% agree with that. I bought my car w/ an a/f guage already installed, and while putting on one heck of a show at night, seems pretty useless.

Actually, I sold the TW heads, gt40 intake, ProM, inj., and S-Trim off of it with plans to put it back to semi-stock. Sadly, I haven't got around to it, and it still sets in the driveway, stripped to the shortblock.
J
I can almost guarantee you haven't seen this one around. I picked it up from TX about amonth or so ago, and the water pump quickly went out on it. I'm gonna get off my lazy rear and get some pics snapped one of these days.
Here's a pic of my 89 though, what the 95 is replacing-

I just saw a post about the ol Cobra emblems on a GT idea. Just kinda curious, I know the popular opinion is that it's...less than acceptable to do that. How about switching the emblems from another GT? Personally, I don't like the side badging on the 95's, and have been trying to come up with...
I may be picking up some Cobra brakes tonight, need some help. I'm only planning on the fronts, and they'll be off of a 98 Cobra. What all do I need? I did a search, but it seems that alot of the people that do this upgrade use the 99+ brakes, I just want to make sure. It's a 95 GT w/ 98 Cobra...
