1/8th mile times with Mongoose kit.

I would certainly bet 114-116, possibly even 1 or 2 more with the cold air, I guess it will depend on the weather and how well it runs. Every car behaves a little different so.. GL at the track. :SNSign:

1/8th mile times with Mongoose kit.

Hey it's all about havin' fun too! It's also nice to see that some of us are making it out to the track still. Good numbers regardless. Just being able to take out a LS1 is enough for most of us lol.... Ok forget I said that :nonono: :D :SNSign:

    0-100+ in a gt

Considering the mods it doesn't seem slow to me, at all. I guess a lot of ppl are used to boost now. Myself I love stock gears, always have. I wouldn't say I've lost any races due to it either. I just can't pass up the highway cruise rpm of 5th gear, and the speed out of 4th. I love draggin'...

    It put down WHAT!!!!

My bad, Jackie Chan. Post took a bit to complete, working on my wireless network, anyways by the time I posted it, it was toward the bottom. :SNSign:

    It put down WHAT!!!!

You realize that a lot of people have more than one user name on here? I have 4, been on here for 4 years now, anyways, my point.. You could be tellin' off a mod. and not even know it, besides, I think your attitude dictates the kind of person you are, and you are not stangnet material by any...

    switched to the dark side

Sweet car. What I want more than anything, is to enjoy that whine, just the sound, I would love it if my GT could have that sound while N/A. Ahh, I really don't know what it is about it, it just drives me crazy. My girl even loves it.

    It put down WHAT!!!!

Nah, we can enjoy a nice environment, where we know we're all real, and share a common love for a pretty cool car, the Ford Mustang. :SNSign:

    It put down WHAT!!!!

I was frustrated at the reaction I got from a post, that's all. Ironically I test drove one, and was very impressed with the performance, feels like it will keep up to a stock 99+ GT, however it was the rest of the car I didn't like.

    It put down WHAT!!!!

Ignorance is bliss ehh? There is absolutely no way to put the point I'd like to make into words, so I'll post this, and be done with this thread. I don't see why people need to be rude, why is it so necessary to be ignorant about things, even such simple things as posting in a thread on the...

    It put down WHAT!!!!

And so, as I posted, now the car can be fairly discussed. The mere HP of a car doesn't reflect it's behavior on a racetrack, or it's gas mileage, or, anything at all. As much as it looks like I'm hating the Cobalt, I didn't judge it, I simply said, consider everything, and then, discuss it, that...

    It put down WHAT!!!!

You're extremely presumptuous, and you seem to get upset easily, however I know nothing of you, just an observation. I didn't say anything that would suggest they don't make good torque. I was simply making a statement. Take it as it is. I will admit I do not like the Cobalt, for a number of...

    Are you a Mustang guy???

For those of us informed and experienced enough in regards to the LS1 and Mustangs etc etc, some things are very obvious yes, but no reason to be ignorant about it. The LS1 is quick, no doubt, it does take some mods to get a 99+GT running along side, but the mustang is a much better car overall...

    It put down WHAT!!!!

First of all, I couldn't possibly care less about the fwhp, how about the torque? And at what RPM? Then lets see how it's geared, and how much it weighs, then you guys can truly discuss the car. I don't care if the next model comes with a bi-turbo 20V near 3 liter 4 cyl with IC and 7 speed...

    nail in tire...patch?

I had two plugs in a tire, put them in myself btw, and when I was ready to get a new set of tires, all four actually, I burned them all the way down. I put these plugs in when the tire was nearly new, had 99%+ tread, I did many many burnouts, launches etc etc, and just generally abused the hell...

What would you do with $45M?

Hopefully a Ford GT LM Racecar, and a regular Ford GT, and a Saleen S7-R, an '04 Cobra built completely for the track, and a 2000 Cobra R for a DD. Also a few Amg's, Bmw's, and probably a new Shelby just to have one, defonantly a Porsche 997 soon as I could, actually I would wind up with a...

    nail in tire...patch?

No way, a plug for a nail is far superior in every way to a patch. It will last the life of the tire in virtually every case, and the "plug" wears down along with the tread. Unbeatable. Simple. Typical, average price, around 8-15$ at a tire repair shop. If you go to a shop that specializes in...

Audi TT is messing with me BIG TIME!

It's not really for protection. I use it for target shooting, it's a hobby of mine. I enjoy it much, and, if it's something you spend alot of time doing, paying the prices at places sucks and it's well worth buying your own, if you do it often. I go very often, so the weapon I purchased will...

    nail in tire...patch?

If it's in the tread pattern, it is very very easy to "plug" the tire, in fact, a nail is probably the easiest tire fix there is, more than 99% of the time the plug will hold perfectly. They use an extreme kind of glue also, it should cost you under 20$. At the most they may charge a fee for a...

Audi TT is messing with me BIG TIME!

I dont carry a weapon. But I usually have mine in my car. Also where I live there's alot of road rage, my town is nick named the 6th borough, lotta NY'ers moving here etc etc. Anyways, do it the legal way, you can file a order of protection against him, regardless he will have no choice but...
